    She did great! This is so realist. Everyone doesn't like fontals and closures. I see alot of people commenting that her edges are damaged, but honestly they look a little thin probably because it's less hair out on the side and some people naturally have thinner sides. Doesn't mean it's damaged lol. Great work

    Thank you Tamika. I clicked because I've seen so many videos where people are taking out MONTHS OLD weaves that have NOT been washed. Many say you can't wash a weave. Your video shows how to have clean hair while preserving expensive styles. Excellent job.

    I love watching hair videos but the comments always annoy me to no end. Everyone follows trends so mindlessly that they think anytime someone does something different it’s wrong. People have been getting sew ins for yeaarrssss! And her edges and many people’s edges are thin due to genetic things. Stop letting Instagram tell you what’s right and wrong.

    It's nice to see a stylist using the applicator bottle and getting the shampoo on the braids and scalp underneath, and really getting your scalp clean. Nothing is worst than paying your money and coming out still with a smelly, itchy and dirty scalp because the stylist doesn't take the time to get the shampoo on your scalp. Thank you for this and a detailed, great video.

    • @kaybybaby5675
      @kaybybaby5675 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@natriac.6092 Just putting conditioner on your hair won't revert it back if it's heat damages. Your hair will be permanently straight and it won't revert back unless you cut the permanetly straightened pieces off. Also, if you have bone straight extensions and just have your hair blown out, it will still be puffy and it won't blend in with your extensions. That's just how I see it.

    Tamika Love you video. What do you put on a weed that is currently in the washer and dryer and air dryer do you need to put any type of serum on it

    • @SimplyTamika
      @SimplyTamika  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks. I usually just put a little serum on it after washing and conditioning it. After that, it’s under the dryer for an hour.

    Do you know the brand and type of hair she is wearing? It looks like a good quality hair.

    How often would you tell someone to wash their hair with a sew in installed and at what point do you tell someone to take out out, about how many washes or how much regrowth?

    • @SimplyTamika
      @SimplyTamika  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Sew ins should only stay in 6-8 weeks. They can be shampooed every two weeks but some people do it once a week.

    Yes Tamika! I love that you use an applicator bottle most stylist don’t do this. I had to figure this process out for myself.

    Hi there! I was just wondering why your client sat under a "power dryer" for an hour and her hair was still not fully dried??

    • @Winterraine20
      @Winterraine20 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      TooBlessed 2BStressed the hair underneath needed to be dried to prevent and mildew or fungus growth on her natural hair a little dry is better then completely wet.

    Hello Tamika, what an awesome video. I love your passion to grow hair under the weave. I'm wearing weave because I can't get the color to work for me. (that's another story). I will be watching your video's so that I can learn how to keep hair on my head under the weave. I wish more people love hair the way you do. I wish I could come to you. I do have questions. Thanks So much

    Is it ok to use the protein conditioner every wash day? I've been looking for a good conditioner to help rebuild my hair since its been breaking so badly.

    • @ardscholar8208
      @ardscholar8208 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Tress S. You need a hard protein treatment like the aphogee 2 step protein treatment and maybe a trim.

    • @tresss.9348
      @tresss.9348 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Abibat Iriafen I've recently gotten a trim and I've used that product before. Its so messy and stinks lol. Just looking for something to use more frequently and not as much mess in between trims.
