Yeah growth rates of the Bullen Merri bass will be off the charts, but not sure of the point of getting the otoliths - Fisheries will know the age of the oldest fish, so that’d be the worst-case scenario.
@@colbylesko like most bass that aren’t eaten by something else, they’ll live for yonks. My guess is 40+ years. Though maybe the BM bass will die of obesity.

Fisheries don’t know how long the bass live in this lake so by knowing how old this one is can get some idea

@@mmmbass6068 yeah oldest one ever been aged from here that I know is 16 years
