When you get the combination magic for electric you do a kamahamha, and hire allows you to control a fire ball, when you combine them big fire ball, also spam jump boost in air
Bam, as someone who has played this game a lot this past weekend, you can actually equip the rock like it's a weapon. Also, the place you go after you beat a boss is in walking distance of your house. Just wanted to give you some good tips
Somehow I have beaten Hector The Rock Golem like four or five times and never once have I realized that you were supposed to use the Homing arrows or the bows at all on him. I did everything melee only essentially. after I broke one of the big crystals and unlocked the new little crystals on hector to hit, I would have to climb Hector himself while he's flinging me all over and break them it's super intense
btw once you're done with crystal hunt you should definitely try modded sandbox, mods are a huge part of blade and sorcery and if you're not trying them out you're missing out on a LOT of fun (js please be careful with what mods to pick if you actually plan on doing that)
Some other things about sorcery: 1. You can imbue weapons that arent rusty (each magic has different effect besides ‘body’ and ‘mind’) 2. Imbued staffs allow you to slam it on the ground to do an AOE attack besides fire, fire staff is fire beam.

Fun fact, if you imbue a sword/dagger with the gravity spell and throw it using the force grab, it will fly at where ever you threw it at like an arrow with no gravity, it’s hard to control but it’s really fun to pull off a kill with (I play nomad so I don’t know if this is changed in 1.0 but I don’t know why they would)
The Body and Mind crystal cores do have some fun upgrades (there's one I like to use is this kick lunge thing with the gravity hover, sends you gliding), and they do have some cool synergy things with each of the magic based crystals, like punching enemies with magic or grabbing them and casting magic onto them. *But I heard there is a special something behind that big sealed gate...* ...start grabbing those other two magic crystal cores.

Trust me, get fire. You can commit war crimes by combining fire with the staff and holding down the spell wheel button while grabbing the staff
