    I just recently started using aloe vera powder to my mixtures and i can attest to this as the truth. Yes, all you need is about a teaspoon amount of aloe and your hair will no longer be dry after doing your treatment. I have noticed a huge difference. Thanks for posting this wonderful video. Aloe vera powder is the answer.

    Thank you so much for all your wonderful tutorials, you teach us so much. I've been adding aloe vera to my henna for the past few months and it really really really makes all the difference. Henna used to dry my hair out but now my hair comes out soft and shiny. For anyone who complains that henna leaves their hair dry or strawlike I really recommend you never forget to add aloe vera to your henna.

    I'm not sure if citric acid would lighten the color in a henna treatment, but I think it might because lemon juice is used to lighten hair. I used honey with the Morrocan henna and the final color was definitely brighter; more of a orange-red. The recent treatment I did with molasses and Morrocan henna is more of a copper red.

    Some way or another I’ve fallen by the way side on preparing this henna. I’ve been using it for years, in fact; I was thinking about stopping and going with a chemical because it wasn’t turning out the way I expected. Now I get it, my water was hot (not boiling) but too hot, plus I would leave it over night for dye release and even put hot water bottles on it to keep it warm, and I was sure I was supposed to put aloe vera powder in the henna after dye release, but hey if I need to change it so be it. I’m so glad you had this video because I really need to change some things. This was a GREAT refresher class for me. Thank you so much.

    Henna sooq and Khadija have changed my way of thinking about henna I always thought just because I have fine straight hair that it wouldn’t work well on my hair and I’m pleasantly surprise how amazing it makes my hair feel. • @laeryl23
    @laeryl23 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Hi, I let my dyed hair grow out during covid, and wanted to get it to a dark auburn with henna. I bought this combo and followed the recipe in your online instructions. I have medium brown hair, with grown out caramel highlights and lots of greys. It covered the greys but came out very uneven. The virgin hair that had grown out didn't really take the red, but the henna did cover the greys. The last few inches that were chemically treated took the henna great and is exactly the shade that I want. There is a very noticeable shade difference where the two types of hair are. Do you have a recommendation for how I can even my hair color out? Thanks!

    What colour will this come out in 100% grey white hair? I have watched your video on how to dye this colour hair with just the henna with aloe vera added, which comes out orange according to the video. Does this mixture using the Raj henna come out darker on this colour hair? Also, I have heard that using distilled water to mix the henna is better because of some of the chemicals in tap water. Would you recommend this? I have not purchased your henna yet, just researching thoroughly first. Great videos though.

    Lemon lightens hair when combined with the sun. I don't think that it works without it.
    Acid is supposed to break down the plant matter to help it dye your hair. It's supposed to deepen the colour. But you shouldn't use it neat, it's too harsh on your hair and scalp.
    I don't know for sure if it works, that's just from my reading. I'm thinking of trying it, as I'd like my hair to be a deeper red. Even with indigo, my hair is a bit bright.

    Hey, such a great informative video! I just wanted to ask, I have wavy/curly very dry hair. Is there any way I can keep my hair curly without loosening the curls along with keeping the colour vibrant? I did read to mix up the henna colour first, let it sit for 8 - 12 hours, then add amla and aloe vera just before applying to hair, then it doesn't make the colour darker? Is that correct? Also does hisbisus help curls? Thank you so much xx

    • @HennaSooq
      @HennaSooq  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! Yes absolutely. Usually you add amla but it will reduce some of the color. You could use amla or zizyphus powders seperately after you color to maintain curls and hair texture. Our henna is max 3-4 hours to sit and the powders are all mixed together and then combined with liquid. Hbiscus not sure if it helps as much for curl maintenance. Welcome! Hope this helps.

    • @HennaSooq
      @HennaSooq  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The henna gloss would be a good first step to see how your hair behaves towards henna. Once you try it then you can move on to henna powder. The thing with henna powder is stronger then a gloss bar so you just want to take small steps. Henna can be done every 4-6 weeks.
