      Yes, you may mix both into henna or even together alone. This does help tone down he redness a bit. Hope this helps:)

    Can I use room temperature distilled water or should it be warm?I have lavender essential oil, when should I add it to return the smell of the henna ? Should it directly to the henna paste without adding carrier oil?

    • @TheHennaGuys
      @TheHennaGuys 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, room temperature is fine. You can add the lavender essential oil when mixing or right before applying. Yes, you can add it directly to the henna paste. You do not need a carrier oil as it is being mixed in with the henna.

    Should you put henna on wet or dry hair?

      Dry hair is best.

    It seems your mixture is really watery not like a pancake texture. I am confused. How much water per a whole package of henna?

    • @TheHennaGuys
      @TheHennaGuys ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good catch! If that does happen you may add a little more henna to make it cake-like batter. You want to add water gradually. In 25 grams you will need about 1/4 of the cup, but we still recommend adding it gradually.

    Have we to use regularly or once is enogh??

    • @TheHennaGuys
      @TheHennaGuys 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You may use it once but it really depends on your hair. If you have damage hair, we recommend you apply it at least 2 times. If you are fine with the color the first use, no need to recolor again.

    Can you prepare and store unused in the fridge for weeks!

    • @TheHennaGuys
      @TheHennaGuys ปีที่แล้ว

      You can freeze it in a sealed container, preferably a non-clear container, to keep it out of the light while storing. It should also be noted that storing mixed henna can result in the color coming out less vibrant than freshly made henna.

    Can you add lemon ?

    • @TheHennaGuys
      @TheHennaGuys 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Lemon is used to help lighten color naturally. I personally use burgundy on my dark hair and mix with lemon juice to help show the redness more on my dark hair.

    Why do the instructions say to let it set 45 minutes after mixing and here you say 8 to 10 hours?

    • @TheHennaGuys
      @TheHennaGuys ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hello. This video explains that the mixture needs to rest for 8 to 10 hours. At the end, it says to avoid using shampoo after the application for 48 hours.

    I tried hibiscus tea, it didn’t really help. A deep red wine and beet juice worked much better. (I know, everyone is different and results vary).

    Why do you use black coffee

    • @TheHennaGuys
      @TheHennaGuys 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The brewed coffee as the main liquid helps deepen the color and lessens red tones.

    Um I thought you are supposed to use an iron bowl for henna

    • @TheHennaGuys
      @TheHennaGuys ปีที่แล้ว

      We only don't recommend it because henna does have slight acidic properties and people like to add acidic liquid like lemon juice or apple cider vinegar, this could cause an iron bowl to tarnish.
