- Payday 2 Stealth build in 2020. So many perk decks in Payday 2 and so many new and returning players. This video is showcasing a stealth build with the burglar perk deck in 2020.
PLEASE - if you see skills that you don't think are necessary,,, I beg you to tell me what else you would take LOL there are no more stealth skills to use points on!!!!
Utilizing the Judge shotgun along with the burglar perk deck to achieve a high concealment. So many stealth variations but with this you get all that you will ever need! Some say that burglar is the best perk deck in Payday for stealth, some love Yakuza and Hacker.If you're new to stealth, try this build!

Few things to add mate:
1: I use throwing knives because if it goes loud and ECM rushing happens, they can still reliably kill (big oil day 1 I'm looking at you)
2: I like to take a loud weapon and Stockholm syndrome occasionally to keep out of the map civ's dominated
3: The butterfly knife lets you flip it while charging so is my go-to melee for boring drill timers
4: Not sure how this works with the extra damage but I don't think ammo bag skills would go unnoticed for sawing especially with the new San Martin bank (so many deposit boxes on that one)
I never thought much about high-value target in stealth, so thanks for that one!
P.S. Did you get around to trying the akimbo revolvers?
My favorite melee weapon is the money bundle because "it's payday fella's"

I like the butterfly knife as a melee just because I can stand there and hold the melee attack button watching the blade spin while I'm waiting for a drill or something.

@@theunskilledshyguy you just have to secure four bags, not even finish the heist. you can just go twice while securing two bags, its what i did. way easier

Personally I'd sacrifice one of the drill skills for Stockholm Syndrome, so that when you rev a saw, or shoot a loud gun it suppresses civs and you don't even need to shout. (useful mainly on Bank Heist)

Perhaps Go Bank as well! I mean you can’t really deny the fact you need to control over 16 CIVLIANS IN THE VICINITY AND KEEP THEM TAMED WITHOUT CABLE TIES while your friend cleans out the vault that took over 4 MINUTES TO OPEN.

I just gun down the civs
I find that taking actual saw skills from the enforcer tree helps too, since you're given an extra blade for the saw and if it's a long heist with competent teammates (lol) you can have an ammo bag as your secondary.

The "50% intimation range" skill makes it to where you can mark enemies from a further distance aswell. I learned that from a Marcmb video.

Discovered stealth for myself a while ago, as a pretty much loud-only player.
This will surely come in handy. xD
Hope so mate. I really love stealth in this game, after sometime it does get pretty easy but still a challenge to learn all maps and solo them etc
my favorite melee is the kunai, it has the fastest swing speed a melee can have (0.3s with a delay of 0.1s between the attacks) and it's has the poisoned blade which will stun the and deal 250 of damage, and in stealth runs if a enemy spot you and you stun him with poison, he will not shoot like he would do if you stun him with shock
nice mate, that is a very cool melee!
One thing worth noting for melee is that the weapon butt has the highest swing speed/consecutive swing speed which is useful if you're doing a stealth mission that requires you to break a lot of glass or other items, think Diamond Store/Mallcrashers.

I like "Burger" Perk Deck. Using a Pickaxe with it on loud or stealth with throwable knives makes a good combo.

The butterfly Sydney knife is the coolest one for my stealth build
That one is very cool!
For stealth I use the Kunai knife. The posion can stun cards in a pinch and it's fast rate of fire makes it optical for smashing glass quickly on heists like diamond store

It took me a long time to find out that 'one down' didn't mean only one person could be downed before the mission failed.

In my stealth build, I aced Portable Saw for better saw efficiency and to 1-tap deposit boxes. No Berserker needed. I also have Stockholm Syndrome basic so a loud saw in a basic bank heist gets all civs to the floor. The saw must have a loud motor and can use durable blade for slightly more "ammo." By shifting points like this, Hacker also works. It does mean that not all drill skills are active but I only care about decreased timer.

I Use the Throwing Cards Or John wicks Throwing knives.
And as Primary Weapon Stealth Akimbo Judges. And as Secondary the Chimano 88 Stealth.

Personally i used to have a "burger" perk deck stealth build since the hacker perk deck was released, i think pocket jammers are fuc**ng OP in stealth, having the possibilty to shut down a cctv while killing a guard is very useful and they can be used also in other different ways. I have 2 stealth builds tbh, one whit hacker the other one with yakuza (the yakuza one can't be used in every heist)

I went back right after this and watched your older video about Burglar being the 3rd best deck option for dodge viable on OD/DS.
I just have one question, the burglar deck claims to decrease your chance of being targeted when standing still and crouching, how does that translate to dodge? What is the maximum dodge you can have with burglar when crouching, does it surpass Rogue's 60 Dodge value? Or does it not work like that?

Thanks mate. To answer your burglar question, that stat doesn’t count towards dodge. There’s some crazy game mechanic where the enemies choose with player to target based on distance and stuff. The targeted mechanic in burglar works like the optical illusions skill, so you can have a high non target chance

I use the akimbo judge shotguns, normal judge shotgun and with the "inner pockets" and the skill that increases concealment with suppressors, i use the katana in my stealth build. Unless i'm using the saw. Then, it's the ice pick.
for melee stealth I mostly use the hackaton. It seems to have the best states for high concealment weapons, does decent damage, hits fast, I just couldn't find anything that was better while still being easy to conceal.

I NEVER knew damage on a saw meant how many ticks it took to open stuff. I thought it was set to be a few and other's were just suing mods. That makes WAY more sense now.
best melee i think is the steel syringe, it interrupts and poisons (kills most enemies) and has a shorter charge time than the kunai.

I would always use the yakuzza over “burger” cause the bonus are nice but only really marginal and I think at least personally movement speed is very important because I want to be fast in stealth also that extra second won’t do anything due to you always having enough time to answer 2 pagers after each other regardless of burger or not and I guess it might be relevant if I guard is coming your way but still it always go for yakuzza with frenzy just because sometimes you can not afford to mask up right at the start/not able to use Molotov without being detected but still good video keep it up man really enjoying your build vids always very entertaining

@@Virginiareaper you need to depend on your skills. If you think that hacker is ez, you are wrong. You will have to train the timings. Burger is useles becuse of bot boosts. Yakuza, as said, is vedy useful, coz your speedmay save you from guard appearing right in front of you.
UPD: need to use ecm if you killed a guard or etc is a micro fail, which ofcourse should be minimised
I think yakuza is for the most experienced players. You wont need burger and hacker if youre good enough to not drive the heist to a moment that requires using pocket ecms
I only use Yakuza for bag moving on shadow raid, everything else I use burglar, and I've got 3,700 hours in the game lol pretty experienced I'd say!
I use Burglar in loud and I carry my team, best supportive deck for loud, you are never targeted with converts. I love this and I don't use ANY other perk.
It’s good for loud, armor regen and dodge
I always use butterfly knife or ice pick, I like ice pick more because it has a lot of concealment and you can spam it

The font is called Tex gyre adventor and the color inventory is called federal inventory
My favorite melee is Novas Shank cuz the recharge is about as fast as you can click with low range but the ability to brush your teeth!

I only have enough skill points to max out the ghost skills you were talking about as I’m pretty low level. Is a 4 detection much worse than 3?
4 detection is t that much worse mate, every detection point higher increases how far away enemies can spot you, difference from 3 to 4 isn’t huge
I like using brass knuckles because they make a satisfying sound, i also use the raven and the judge because i dont have the cavity 9mm

Stockholm Syndrome basic is let you get civilians down with a loud gun (etc. Saw) you can prefer it then the melee build. You don't need melee on stealth heists. Good video btw. Especially Jim Carrey part xD

personally my fav melee for stealth was the baton, just b/c of that one time i got caught with my pants down in stealth and had to whip some poor guard for like 30 seconds or so, only if i didnt get caught

Aced Cleaner is useless if you're going to run 2 ECMs and a body bag case. I'd invest it into aced parkour so you can run in any direction aswell as reload while running. Favourite melee would be the box cutter, feels like you're a psychopath or something..

Non DLC
Weapon Butt - Pretty fast melee for smashing glass and stuff if you don't wanna use ammo for some reason.
Money Bundle - For when you just need to smack a bitch, also gives an achievement on FWB and Reservoir Dogs day 1 (day 2. ovk pls.)
OVERKILL Boxing Gloves - Mike Tyson with less ear biting.
Push Daggers - Aldstone side job stuff.
Rivertown Glen Bottle - Fun for bopping people.
DLC
Empty Palm Kata - Ninja vibes.
The Pen - John Wick vibes.
El Ritmo - Heist has bad music? Just make your own.
Wing Butterfly Knife - Style points.
Kunai Knife - Make people throw up if you're into that.

I still find people using electric knuckles/buzzers for stealth heists. Can that count as my favourite in terms of watching them taze the guards, which almost guarantees them to start firing?

@@b33croft I'm late, but it's pretty much a faster way to kill someone if, for example, you have a saw equipped (let's say you sawed a door open and then as soon as the door opened there was a guard in front). Also pretty good for getting civs to eat the dirt faster

There's only a small handful of melees that I tend to take for stealth, those being any weapon with high knockdown such as any of the batons, something with poison like the kunai, or anything that's fast. Electrical weapons *seem* like a good choice, but guards have a chance to fire their weapons when tased, just like the player, which is an accident waiting to happen unless you're going for a no kills run for an achievement or something. In that case, maybe you wouldn't want a poison melee (or shurikens).

I love the Carpenter's Delight (which us just a standard hammer), because even though it does a ridiculous 20 damage, it has a base knockdown of 200, which is the highest in the game. It just sends guards on their asses, and opens Them for self-cuffing, if they don't obey immediately.

with the new Jiu Feng pack 4 we now have an integrally suppressed pistol with shotgun blowback.

There is actually an achievement called "I have no idea what I'm doing" for doing shadow raid using the Vulcan and rpg from the overkill pack.

I mean, with all the pick lock skills and the quick perk plus all three ai you don't even need to bring a saw to bank hiest to loot all the deposit boxes. You can fully loot bank hiest in under an hour without bringing the saw. Even the pagers aren't even long enough to be a problem.
a saw will make you be able to open each box in less than a second, if time is what you have, pick away!

Yea stealth builds are literally the easiest to make right, you can have everything you want lol
@@b33croft I literally used hacker and parkour aced for when I run around a corner and need to backtrack and pocket ecms for camera's
I prefer Bullet Storm aced over Beserker, because you can get 10 seconds of infinite saw blades, when your other weapon isn't fully depleted. If both weapons are empty you get the full 15 seconds. Combine this with sharp blades and your saw skills and you can almost complete the entire Bank Heist Vault, with one single recharge from a basic ammo bag, if you are precise enough.
