Beginning of October with high water was tough on the Jurubaxi with 18 pounds our best. The water level was perfect on the Jurubaxi again two weeks ago and it was looking to be epic with an 18 in my first 15 minutes but it turned out even worse than the prior trip with big fish for the trip a 21 on the size not numbers river, did manage a 17 and an 8 1/2 pound true butterfly. The chopper bite was as slow as it gets.Still searching for that 25.
