Hi Tom, thanks for your question! The ore car is driven through the cell and is spun from each end of the wagon as they rotate 360°. It does not detach from the other ore cars. Hope this helps. Cheers
so the cars must have kind of a rotation-coupling as they don't disconnect? how many cars do they turn upside-down in one go? what about dust during offloading? ventilator that blows it out?
The bins turn on the knuckles there at each end of the car
So does the dumper just picks up the bin and tips it over or are the wagons are detached and wheels and all is tipped over?

This car dumper can do two cars at a time upside down
, Thats right, the yokes at each end of the ore cars rotate 360 degrees so the ore cars can tip into the dumper hoppers.
