Yall could gain 2 tenths if you can get the left front splitter up half an inch. The left front is plowing the dirt in the center of 3 and 4. Definently slowing the car because its bouncing off the ground an losing traction.
Jessie deserves a medal for sure. He’s a great asset to have on the team. In situations like this scramble practice session, having him so capably running around the car making changes and adjustments based on his discussions with Joseph is invaluable. Way to go guys.
I have binge watched while being down with the crud. Love the family atmosphere around your race team. Priceless. One suggestion from an old dirt racer. Get the tools out of your drivers hands on race day. You don’t realize how much energy you expend before you get in the car. The last 1/4 of a longer race it makes a difference. Good luck.
Y’all are living the dream I tell ya! I’ve been following since the beginning and it’s been unreal seeing everyone’s skills progress. Keep it up boys and girls!
id check the camber in the left rear tire when you guys are hitting that corner at them speeds the inside of the rear tires hitting more then the rest.
Got to qualify good. Progress with the setup. Good motor. I think you've got this thing. Hammer down Joseph. Stay out of the mess. Good luck Hunt the Front!
Young man y'all look like a professional team tonight you went out with a set goal in mind and you worked every single time to improve and you did I love the fact that this year you're not just happy to be there and make the show you're there to make some noise you know you can run with these guys on that track. Joseph has gotten comfortable with that track it doesn't bother him any now look out it's going to be quick I'm glad the new engine came in just in time an Old faithful some cars are just special can't say why they just are. Enough said..
Car looks good. I agree with the guys saying get off of the bottom and use the slope on Turn 2. It helps with the backstretch speed. Good luck this week. Be sure and give Jesse lots of.carbs for energy.
Probably be a good idea to torque those lugs every time you go out and after every tire change. Also tug on the steering wheel before the driver goes out to make sure that it is locked in. That is what I would do before sending my little brother out.
I was at spoon river speedway in the late 90s or the early 2000. A driver had his steering wheel come off coming out of turn 3. He hit a track official doing around 80 mph. His boots where left where he was standing. One of his socks was left in the boot. The other one was barely on his foot. He died at the track. He was standing where he shouldn't been. He was warned not to stand there.
they have a torque stick on there impact that i am sure is the one for the torque value they are looking for i mean it never hurts to check but thats what those are
Jessie and Jordan do one heck of a job as THE crew ! Kudos men . Joseph drive the wheels of old faithful ! Remember sometimes yo have to do a LITTLE banging to get ahead .
Guys yall were getting in dial in there. Working together as a team. Means alot. Hope Friday night will be a special night for HTF. Will be rooting for you.
Looks like you got what it takes,15.9 will get you that win, some difference a hundred horsepower will make, you boys got my vote....and you too Jessie...caught my interest all the way up here in Canada(North Hatley Quebec)
Oh really fast time was a 15.3 set by Mike Marlar and keep in mind there was only 12 cars in practice..They conveniently leave that out off there content.
@@JJ-1-1 at the 18:15 mark he said 5th out of 12 that have takin time...Why do you watch ...if you hate them so much.?..everything you comment is negative
Really good looking car!! Kudos to Jessie for being able to make the changes Joseph needed to get faster letting Joseph be able to stay in the car. Jessie deserves a lot of credit. Great job fellas.
outstanding gentleman! what a crew you have gained and the big fella is like having your own Chocolate like Earnhardt has! your program has grown so well and everyone especially Jesse deserves a big high five! Hunt that front jo jo!!!
I love that sound of your headers echoing through the facility makes me smile and he was sailing definitely in the running for Saturday well Friday night I should say which now is tonight show them how it's done
New subscriber since I watch the Cleetus vid. I have never been so excited to watch dirt racing before. Can’t wait to watch the rest of Bristol and more on your channel. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Looking forward to more.
My main concern is he seems to want to run absolutely as close to the dirturtles as possible. Afraid he's gonna fold the nose & knock the wall down on exit. I really like Davenports line. Enters higher/later and cuts down across the banking. Does XR use the droop rule? Their car looks way higher at LR to me but might just be the wrap/body. The guy that was color commentating last night during practice suggested pulling camber out to get more of the RF on the track. Bumping RH side air pressures to decrease chance of cutting sidewall of tires.
Seen Owens entering late also and he seemed to carry more speed thru the corner by doing so... Dad always said, free n fast in the corners wins races, not the straights.
I mentioned how low Joey was running last week in the comment section too. If you are low enough to be bouncing on the turtles, you are too low. Smaller tracks make for bad habits that are hard to break when you only run a big track like Bristol for two weeks each year. Higher groove is much faster. Momentum is everything at Bristol!
I'm LOVIN this, for mid-turn push-- what about a bit more castor? unload the LR on demand with the steering... Or a higher RR spring rate to keep weight on the LF during the loaded exit to enable the castor to lift the LR. All the boys are KEEN as mustard, great to see. Wish I was THERE. Good luck Joey..
Way to go team!! Glad to see things headed in the right direction! You can tell a difference in the look on Joey's face compared to last week, and that is a good thing! Go team HTF!
This is a great point! I know you guys are a small team, but Jordan and Jesse both deserve MVP Awards for the weeks leading up to Bristol and the hands on during race weeks. Jesse looked like a spider monkey working on that car during that 1 hour practice. Awesome job guys!!

I am fairly new to dirt track racing and it is amazing to me just how much tire rubber the clay surface can hold. Good luck to you guys tonight and have fun stay safe.
That last practice session it looked like he moved up about a half a Groove now that was my observation from 236 miles away cuz that's about how far it is from here to Bristol
The car looked good, although from the looks of it I was pushing from the center off in one and two. Three tenths is getting real close. And the track will probably slow down some too. Stay safe!
I think if he’d open his entrance up a little and then turn the car back down he’d be smoother, smooth is fast , entering so low and hitting the bumps is upsetting the car , either way still doing a bad ass job , best of luck 🏁🇺🇸🏁🇺🇸
Really neat to watch incar camera . I could see the steering wheel movement and hear the rpms change for the better in the first second and third segments. 2nd and 3rd segments less wheel movement and more power to rear wheels off corner exit. Gotta say all that work y’all did sure did pay off for y’all last night during practice and you looked great out there so hope that y’all do great tonight.!! And team #HTF is on the prowl and from what I seen last night y’all only need to pick up a couple of tenth’s and you will be right there with the top guns, so just be careful with y’all’s adjustments because TIRES is going to be the game for 50 laps tonight and just not sure 🤔 how they are going to do things for y’all tonight, qualifying, heats and a feature most likely but they have changed thing’s up since the start of the week but good luck 🍀 and will be watching tonight on XR and pulling for my Florida boy’s.🙏🏁❤️🏆🇺🇸
