hello! it is back to school season for most university kids & a start of a new academic journey for me!! this week, my macbook pro came in the mail and what better way to celebrate than to do my guilty pleasure - unboxing videos!!!! asmr is hard lol, hope the sound quality is okay! (I don’t have a mic). hope u all enjoyed the video and thank u to everyone who watches my video!

google chrome you need to use m1 version not intel
A recommendation - just like the screen protector, webcam cover can also damage your retina display as if you close the lid, there is a small gap between the display and keyboard which can cause the screen to crack. You can search "created tech" channel on youtube and watch the video of him about macbook m1's screen cracking. It's better to use some kind of sticky note instead. Great video BTW😃

at the end of the video i screamed when you touched the screen lol, because the screen is complete glass it smudges a lot more then fiberglass or plastic screens, i recommend that you get a soft microfiber cloth to clean it every so often. but i love your vids their really aesthetic u earned a new sub

I personally have the HP Spectre X360 rn but I'm totally thinking about getting a mac when I go into uni (although I have a good few years until then-only just transferring into year 11 now). Simply because of Logic Pro and the idea of just... having a mac! Anyways I just thought I'd let you know (if you're interested, I found out about this the other day and did it) if you go on the Canva website, you can create your own personalised PC backgrounds that will fit the screen with the desktop background template, this works for banners and phone backgrounds too

I am getting a new macbook soon. I am hesitant between M1 macbook air and M1 Macbook pro. I read some feedbacks and it seems like people don't like the touch bar in the macbook pro. Is it that bad ? What do you guys advise to take ?

I am planning to buy Macbook Air 8gb version. I am a casual video editor.. I will working mostly with 2 to 3 layer time line of 4k 30fbs footage on Final Cut Pro for color correction and speed ramp etc. Can I do all these smoothly with this machine?

It is why I think we do not need laptops anymore. We use a keyboard and a mouse purchased separately anyway. But if we are on move, then we can type directly on screen. Apple, please make a note of that.
I don't know what to choose iPad or Mac😖 for study, work, but and for relaxing/games/videos
Ipad has so many limitations. Just buy ipad if you want to use the touch screen and take written notes
i agree! ipad is still quite limited in its usage especially for certain apps needed for school, it’s good for handwriting aesthetic digital notes and playing games but apart from that i’d say the mac takes the cake!

You should at least get the 512gb model cause the software updates and softwares that you have to work on during the university time does fill up storage
