Huge congratulations are owed to Will for the beautiful work on this knife. I hope it helps inspire folks who have limited tools to keep pushing the boundaries of their skills. Having good tools is so much fun and brings such joy to us as makers, but we don't need them to get better and make better work. Experience, ingenuity and hard work always trumps the fancy tools! Fancy tools just help make the knowledge get applied easier!
    Go follow Will @will_stelter

I started watching Alec back in 17 when I was deployed to Qatar, and was so amazed at the skill and technical crafting from such a young blacksmith.
Jamie’s edits definitely have the flair needed to make Alec and Will worth watching, and is just as big of a start in his own right for constantly being able to create entertaining videos from whatever nonsense Alec and Will send him lol.
Will has been the fire to Alec’s forge, and was a breath of fresh air since day one. I don’t think there has ever been a better tag team duo better than Steele and Stelter.

    these videos makes me remember
Alec 1st workshop with dirt floor and water leaks
i remember having so much fun watching those
when he moved some of the magic was lost
then after his 2nd move i felt it more
i guess for me that the more production and more fancy
videos feels more synthetic and more like a business focused
but maybe its just me maybe im just nostalgic

Hey Will, just to let you know a skinning knife should have a half moon shape. The knife will skin better than a straight spine. You can still use a straight spine but you risk more holes in the hide. Where as a curved spined blade, you have less chance of poking the hide.
