Campaign 1. How to make a Salmon Run 2 parts, Hero and Freedom Hero takes the 3D platformer part seriously and allows different weapons to use different special parkour moves (Wall Cling Rollers, Double Jump Blasters, Pole Vault Splatanas) In the hero story, you drive out the Salmonids from the sewers beneath the Splatlands The main hub is giant, comprised of 3 main worlds each with 3 levels, a few gauntlet stages (like Alterna Space Centre) after each world is cleared, and one giant final level which is essentially another large hub. You fight the 3 king salmonids, a new king salmonid introduced in this game, a Triumvirate, and the main antagonist (the head engineer of the salmonids) twice in two separate mechs (The Amphibeast and the Dorsal Fin-isher) While traversing this world, certain areas are marked as salmonid territory, and you must fight waves of Salmonids in a designated arena space and get as many eggs as possible to move on. If a specific egg score is reached, you get a main collectible and some upgrade materials You have a specific amount of upgrade points. You can allocate them to whatever stats that you want, but even with maxed upgrade points, one cannot obtain every single upgrade, so you have to carefully plan out the best loadout. You play as Neo Agent 3, and you adventure with Smallfry, Callie, Marie, Captain, and Cuttlefish. In Freedom Mode, you play as a Salmonling left by your species to rot in the sewers. You find Deep Cut and they assist you on your journey. They were told that there was a treasure in the centre of the sewer by Agents 1 & 2 (who tricked them into going there so that they could help out with the investigation), so they want to get it. There are also mammalian octarians (who are the enemies in this mode) in the sewers, and you have been tasked to clear them out as well. Gameplay could be similar to octo expansion, I honestly don't know. You fight upgraded versions of the Octonozzle, Octowhirl, and Octo Shower, new mechs (the Octoclaw (wolf), Octotusk (walrus), and Octoscreech (bat), each based off of mammals), and eventually, the corrupted Great Zapfish (now the Great Zapfuzz) who is the final boss, now fully taken over by the Fuzzy Ooze, based off of the fact that the Splatsville Great Zapfish had some hair on its head after the main story was completed. I've already blabbed on too long, so I'm not going to say anything more (Because there IS more.).
idea for customization: Ink Color: Basically allowing the player to choose a color for themselves and for the enemy, kinda like the "color lock" option but customizable, only affects the user's point of view of course. Speaking of ink color, if the locker feature comes back, PLEASE allow us to change the ink color of the weapons/accessories in the locker Custom weapons: Instead of having the usual "Custom [Insert weapon name here]" series that actually can't be customizable at all (scam tbh), there would be a feature that allow players (after reaching a certain level) to be able to "create" a custom weapon where the player can choose its sub and special, while I know this may sound broken, the idea is that depending on the weapon, the sub, and the special combined, it will change the stats to balance it out, example: make a custom splattershot that has curling bomb + reefslider would have a lower firing speed compared to the other variants, these custom weapons can only be used in "Free Matches", these types of matches would just be non competitive matches that awards little to no XP, and are here just to have fun, regular matches (Turf War and Ranked) doesn't allow custom weapons, the custom weapons could also use different styles (swap colors), see it as some kind of "sandbox" mode or something like that Story mode idea: Nothing much to say but i'd love to have a story mode (or dlc) centered about the salmonids where you get to play as one, I know Splatoon 3 kind of offered a story mode centered about salmon run with smallfry but in my opinion, as an average salmon run enjoyer, i was not satisfied.
Good idea! I actually had a weapon idea a while ago, something with bagpipes! Also a fully customizable weapon would be super cool! Maybe if they keep Sheldon licenses, you could have to pay more of them to customize a weapon! Tysm for your ideas btw :)
i think splat4 will be a launch or near launch title for the next console and modern nintendo seems alot more likely to release their big name titles like splatoon internationally at the same time as they do in japan, like how they did for new horizons even though they didnt for other animal crossing games i just want off the hook to be in the dlc again
I agree, honestly I hope the next console is another switch and uses the same cartridges. Also thank you for the information! Neat to hear that Nintendo releases internationally now
Imo the challenge mode would be so much better if it was a permanent playlist that just rotates out it challenge every two hours that would add so much more fun to casual than just turf war.
I had a concept for it, where the new story had an infected area that seemed to be overrun with experiments. And the bad guys (like 3) were the idol group charas. The levels would be exploration and getting to a specific point, where they would face an experiment. My code names were agent wild, agent ordinary, agent squacto, agent eerie, and for the last three (the idol group name) agent octotail. The storyline would go more into the science and have cutscenes with the bad idol group watching. The group would have eels who were experimented on and turned part human, and an octoling who was shunned for looks. Each area would have something like gas or trees in it. Also the agents(minibosses) would be ones gone rouge from the gas in the facilities. And the player (nicknamed ranger 7) would explore with a mask, two splatanas, and heay duty gear. If the player loses to a mini boss fight a cutscene plays showing the eels throwing the ranger in water (which only they can swim in) splatting them. And also, it would introduce hybrids of inklings and octolings as well as playable eels. Since they can blend in with water. It would also be cool if through boss phases the brighter the luminescents is on the boss. Could also explore big man's species, too.
I am hoping that they bridge the gap between casual & competitive. RN, the story is always the same. You put 100+ hours into casual matches with your janky equipment then take the first baby step into ranked and get curb stomped by a bunch of hyper competitive veterans with perfect gold Tier 0 equipment.
@@0ct0k1ng I know that is basically how it always goes with these types of games. I love Splatoon but had to learn that i can't always control everything perfectly and shouldn't take it so seriously. I think competitive would be too much for me, mentally. If I had to implement one change to the online ranked it would be matching games based on tierlists of gear 'n' weapons. Pokemon competitive has something similiar. Ubers, OU, UU, RU, NU and some others. Adjusting the list of which abilities/weapons are too powerful or whatever every month or so would be stella.
i thought this video was very well made! i think to get more views you could update the thumbnail and maybe tease one of your major ideas in it. i think splatoon 4 NEEDS either a time change or a location change so it can be fresh. keep up the good work! also 2:57 do you mean the world hubs like octo valley and alterna or the plazas like inkopolis and splatsville? i think it would be super cool if splatsville was under attack
Tbh, they should only make a 4th one if they are WILLING to put time and effort into the game, and not rush it. Like I agree that a 4th one might not be necessary, but it could make them money! It could also be cool to see what they do with the series, seeing as they now have creative freedom to try a new story mode (the story modes are my favorite so I hope it’s good)
@@0ct0k1ng Of course this is just my opinion but. The main reason i wouldnt want another splatoon game is becuz of the new story mode. Splatoon hasnt had a good story mode since Splatoon 2’s hero mode. Thats right. Only splatoon 1 and 2 have the good story modes. Octo expansion really tried to ruin the game for me but there are infinately many problems with the story. Same goes with splatoon 3’s story mode. So its not all bad.🙂
@@CaveBoss That octo expansion take is awful, Splatoon 1/2's regular story mode was pretty meh. TBH Octo expansion is the only story mode I have really liked. Splatoon 3's story mode was just Octo Expansion but worse. And side order doesn't lean enough into its roguelike mechanics to make replaying feel worth it.
@@LonelyNumberSplatoon 1/2’s story modes are exactly what id expect a splatoon campaign to be like. Splatoon is supposed to be musical playful silly and dorky. Splatoon 1/2’s story modes are just that. The shitty backstories were just insignificant little things found in scrolls of questionable credibility. Then Octo Expansion tried to shove it in our face. Not fresh. But thats just my opinion. Lotta people actually like that shyzer. Good for them i guess.
I am a bias spider-man fan.
COULD BE MORE LIKE THE PROJECT SPLATOON 3.
