    My compliments to you for a well done, to-the-point tutorial on the ladder's basic features. Very refreshing.

    I’ve had one for years, super versatile ladder. You can even use to make scaffolding

    What’s the main difference between this and the velocity? Which one is better?

    • @LittleGiantLadders
      @LittleGiantLadders  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      It all depends on your needs. The Revolution has metal hinge button and metal rock-locks, while the Velocity has a plastic hinge button and plastic rock locks. The Velocity 17 (with ratchet levelers) weighs 35 pounds, and the Revolution with levelers weighs 39 pounds. Some people like the feel of a heavier duty articulating ladder, but both are IA 300 lbs rated, so you can have two people up to 300 pounds on both sides of the ladder at the same time.

    Are the metal rock locks the only difference between this and the Xtreme? They seem nearly identical?

    • @LittleGiantLadders
      @LittleGiantLadders  ปีที่แล้ว

      The Xtreme has accessory ports on every size, while the revolution does not have those accessory ports, if that is important to you (to add things like the airdeck). The Xtreme also has the safety rail attachments so you can use the safety rails as a wing-span or a walk-thru, while the Revolution does not. It's all about what you need or want.

    Not quite sure which feature merits the name "Revolution" ?

      Little Giant has revolutionized the ladder industry. But this particular ladder took our original "classic" articulating ladder and demanded even more out of it. From the quad-lock hinge, the ratcheting feet, and the metal rock-locks. :)

    Would this work on uneven ground?

      I just finished video and see you answered my question. Can that leveler be placed on if mine came without it?

    • @LittleGiantLadders
      @LittleGiantLadders  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry for the delay in response! Yes, if you bought a Revolution without the ratcheting levelers, you can buy an upgrade kit to add them to the Model 17, 22, or 26. littlegiantladders.com/accessories/

      @@LittleGiantLadders This is an imperfect system because the leg extensions are not on the left or right side. Both leg extensions have been placed on a uniformly matching front or back

      @@timbosboudreaus7996 The intent is that you face your work. If you turn a ladder sideways, any pressure you exert from the top could tip a ladder over much easier, which is dangerous. You should try to always face your work.

      @@LittleGiantLadders in my trade everyone faces the ladders sideways. We have to find something to put under the other side if the ground isn't level. It's dangerous either way.

    Makes it look too easy. Its great, but had to have my son hold the bottom legs down by standing on the feet. Because the 26th version would just flip.
    For me. Even though I have this. For that extension out to 26 feet, I would rather use my dad's ladder, old school pull with the rope. but for now, I got to justify to my wife, why I spen over 500 for this. LoL. It does get flimsy when using it fully extent. But it does get the job done.

      I would recommend this NIOSH app: safety-work.org/en/niosh-ladder-safety-app.html
      It has an angle indicator on there that you can lean against the ladder to ensure you are at the proper climbing angle. The ladder can be used fully extended as long as you are at the correct angle. I'm glad you were able to find a way to feel comfortable at that height!
      If you find yourself needing to use a more standard extension ladder, check out the HyperLite, which uses a double pulley to make it easier to extend, and can come with some outriggers if you find yourself on uneven ground or want extra side-tip stability.
