@@kathiblankenship3000 on pets use whole lemon sliced to extract the limonene and fresh thyme 2tbs boiled up, then add 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar. Put in spray bottle - flea spray suitable for dogs and cats. Comb through twice a week.
Bicarbonate of soda and salt. Use like shake and vac for the furnishings and carpets.. Leave down for long enough to dehydrated the fleas (as long as possible) then vacuum.

I was vacuuming daily.. then got COVID… just now woke up to a adult flea on my kitten paw - by my face!!! Everyone got a Dawn bath and hot water wash everything. Covid or not have to vacuum.. temps are still 100.1 to 102.7… my hate for fleas are exponentially growing!!!

My friend I have a fleas infestation years ago. I thrown away all the furniture that fleas could go inside like mattress, carpets ecc then thrown alcool on the pavement and set it on fire. Of course there was nothing inside the house like clothes or stuff for them to go inside.
I sweat to god after 1 month of sleep deprivation I was going crazy...

I got a wonderful spray from my vet’s office that was completely safe for humans & pets. It worked great on my carpets & my upholstered furniture as well. I even used on my bedding & pillows. I never saw another flea in my home again. It was $20 for 32 fl oz bottle & worth every penny! 🐾❤️🐾

I have help for you,
go to the home store like Rona is or where you can get Cedar wood mulch, the stuff that's broken down. Cedar wood trees and bring that home and soak some in a jug of water .. get warm water. Put some of the mulch in the water Let it soak for at least a few hours until you can smell the Cedar wood in the water. The mulch will Phil was water and synced to the bottom of the jug. And that's what you want. You want the water to turn red and it will smell like Cedar wood. The water will have a strong scent of Cedar wood if you let it soak for about a day or 2. Put a lid on it and shake it periodically,, when it smells like the wood chips then use the water to spray everywhere. Spray your cats, your dogs your own hair. Wash your body in it wash your clothes wash the walls wash the floor.,,and keep using the water . Don't throw away the mulch. The mulch can take lots and lots and lots of repetitive water soaking. So you will not need to use new wood every time just add more water after you use the 1st batch
Also grab yourself some Cedar wood essential oil. Try to get the smelliest kind they have. Your house is gonna smell gorgeous like a sauna like a hardwood. Beautiful cabin in the woods somewhere. It's really cool and it kills fleas too. Weighs, the first way is that it's suffocates them. They cannot stand the smell and they will kill themselves. The second way is that it claims 2 different liquid parts inside their body, so they die. I have found it works amazing. I have 3 cats and I had an explosion of fleas beyond explanation. I'm embarrassed about some of the videos that I took. But 1 day they may see the light. The fleas were burrowing inside my body in my head and other places ..on my back And in my eyes it was really bad. I ended up finding the remedy about the Cedar wood 1 day while still trying to find help and there was and I tried it and it works. I don't use anything else other than a roller. A sticky roller and I have to roll my bed every night. Before I go to sleep. I shake out my blankets and my pajamas. And then I've rolled my mattress and my betting because the cat's sleep with me. I'm not gonna kick them out and I'm not getting rid of them. And so if I have to deal with fleas for the rest of my life. Then I will because it takes a long time to get rid of all of the eggs that they have and drop off all around the house. I do let my cat outside but I don't wanna stop doing that. They're on a leash and they don't go very far. But I and still trying to spray all the way around my RV4 fleas that are dropped off by stray animals and dogs. And dear and stuff like that. So that takes longer and so I am still dealing with them. But compare to what they were before I was MYSELF so I understand how you feel you must be patient. It will take a long time but it's better than suffering with no results happening. Just know that you're not alone. I believe you. I know that fleas are persistent and they're invasive. Any time you feel a tickle on your skin or in your hair or in your shoes. Or you see your cat's twitching or your dog. Just spray them down with some of that Cedar would water. It's OK they will not die from ingesting it or the oil. When you put the oil on the cats or the dogs, just rub it in your hands a little bit first. And then put some on their Fur. Keep an eye on them in case they vomit after if they've ingested it, but most mostly they won't do that, they, they just don't. It's not, it's not caustic or bad for your animal, I have seen some internet people saying that it is but I have 3 cats and I have been putting this Cedar. Wood oil and the Cedar would oil water as well as the Cedar wood mulch water on my cats. And all 3 different variations do no damage to them at all.
Those flea bombs work though!
For the adults and nits, not the eggs. I got the best bombs available, at arouns 100 bucks a bomb. They killed them for a lil while, a lil over a week later they were back bwtter then ever. These best way is to hire an exterminator that guarantees to rid the home of infestation bc they have to keep coming back until thwyre completely eradicated. If additional treatments are needed they come at no extra cost except the fee you paid initially. I was given a couple options. It was around 300 bucks or so for a one time treatment (with additional sprays as needed at no extra cost until eradicated. The option I chose bc it was cheaper the day of wne since I live in Florida where we have every bug known to man, and most of them bite and/or infest at the drop of a hat was to have them çome out once a month for 6 months at around 40 a month. So eradicated the fleas and kept all the palmetto bugs roaches and all the other nasty lil shits around here outside or dead.
Yeah but:
1. They're expensive
2. Can easily make a pet or young kid sick
3. You have to find someone else to stay for 3 days (adding to the cost)
@@wolfliegeall worth it! Obviously not exposing your child or pets to the bomb solution.. but definitely worth taking your kids and pets away for a couple hours.. by-the-way bug bombs have never worked for me when it comes to fleas

@@swissmaid but don’t use dog flea treatments on cats. It’s toxic for cats but not dogs to spray them directly with most of the stuff. But most stuff for cats works on dogs.
I bought the pesky things in from where I work. I also have a cat. So gave the cat frontline. And steam cleaned the carpets every 2 days, you need to deep clean every couple of days.

I once had fleas cause a person who frequented my home carried fleas on her body and she knew it ! It stopped long after she was gone cause I knew nothing about this or fleas cause never had fleas before !!! Now I know but I wish I had used diotomacious earth along with everything else I used .Today there are meds for cats that work so much better and work sooner!!!

@@treeknome2642 well technically many don't recommend it but some people dust it on there floors to slowly kill them. But id recommend Alpine wsg pesticide for general use. I learned that from Green Akers pest control.
I use salt in my vacuum and at bed time salt my carpet and vacuum it up in the morning

We had sand fleas just once. We bought everything and they were infesting our home even with hardwood floors. No carpet. I ended up going to veterinarian and paid $40 for this aerosol can they sold me for fleas and IT WORKED ASAP. Try that too if desperate

These ladies look like they've cleaned a carpet or two.
Baking soda helps. Cover the floor in it. Wash and dry everything soft on the hottest setting. Bathe everything with fur.

Dawn Soap kills Fleas in ANY Animal. Problem solved. Carpets too.
not 100%. I've given my poor chihuahuas about a dozen baths with dawn soap, double or triple washing... afterwards there's still a few crawling around, it's terrible.
