But they’ve all told me the difference is choosing to love the other person. Choosing to deal with the bad months and to get through it. To not give up- you’re married. You become one. My boyfriend is from Jersey and does not know a singular friends parents that are married. Everyone has been divorced. He says our relationship just feels diff because we use our words, and I haven’t just left him when we’ve come to a crossroads. It’s been about 3 years now and there’s a lot to go. But it’s a hard climb up to a long marriage when you come from an area where you everyone gets married and divorced :/ getting married young and finances are the top reasons!
