Wat nonsense Just in this game alone...we saw cheating Coll claiming a stroke and fussing over the let call and the next rally ff with unsporting Coll refusing to take his opponents hand of assistance..Coll displays constant disrespect towards his opponents
This match was an absolute masterclass by Elias. He executed his tactics to perfection to neutralise the speed and accuracy of Coll. Only a matter of time before he reaches world #1 in my opinion!
I've noticed Paul and Elias don't play much on the front of the court, only length game. It feels they aren't trying to finish the rally even when they get a chance. Any idea why?
its playing the margins, not wanting to make any unforced errors, and not wanting to open themselves to a counterattack. coll is very quick to get to the front, with a great counterdrop, so if you go for a nick, miss it then you can stuff yourself. both players here were favouring high drops to the front with high margin of error which cling to side wall and can occasionally squeeze an error. safer play, and a bit different from the more attacking Egyptian style where they like to open it up more.
Squash now just needs the "villian" look at the biggest 4 american sports, there's always booing along with the cheering, we need rivalries, louder crowds, etc. that would be great for the sport and that's how it would grow, we clearly have the quality
Love to see Elias perform at such a level. A great inspiration for those among us struggling versus highly athletic players.

Agreed. Ahad and his AR Proformance channel are great at helping us club players understand the subtleties of the highest level.
So glad I read this comment. I didn’t know AR had a channel. Thanks!
Good for the sport is spot on, these two boys are class acts. Diego played so well and he's a relative youngster, got years to go.
Oh WOW you guys always listen.. BEST sporting channel
Hermoso saludos desde latinoamerica.
What a game! They took squash to the next level.
Hauntingly 🎃 good squash. I adore both these players-something uneasy about cheering for (and critiquing) both simultaneously.
This is actually inspirational. What a game
Refreshing to see these two guys in the final. No controversy and stoke hunting either..

@@ShaneLindsayDr Yes, safer length games. I do miss the creativity and risk taking of the Egyptians. Both great players though.
Lol Coll nearly took elias out with the cross court between points
It was kind of awkward seeing coll prematurely celebrate what he thought were strokes and then being given lets or no lets
I thought the same. Maybe he got it from Greg lol
When I grow up I want to be Diego.
