Plenty of people in the military will be torn on the issue and the place it starts could be with an internal power struggle. If a military leader refuses a direct order by the President and is subsequently replaced by a Yes Man in the final days of the presidency the conflict of interest would soon become a conflict of power and Joe Biden could have a military led coup to contend with.
