The best part is Angel just saying "idunno" like a surly teen being asked a question about her social life she doesn't want to answer.
Out of all the Borderlands 2 Echos I have listened to, that is my favorite one… and for that reason. xD

Anyone else notice that Zer0 mentioned the vault before the guy says the vault was a huge challenge?

I like the idea that he said the exact same thing twice in that kind of way. Makes it just a little more apparent that he probably isn't human.

Maybe Borderlands 3 will eleberate more on his backstory or he will just reamain a mystery.

Zero is my favorite of the Borderlands 2 playable characters. the whole space age ninja thing makes me think of Grey Fox from Metal Gear.

Beats the game, kills Jack and the Warrior that was suppossed to destroy all life on Pandora. Soloes every "invincible" raid boss. Completionists the entire game. Still zero. Whats it gonna take man?

+SnapDragon The 488th That wasn't Jack who said that. If you pick it up for the first time, you may get that but it doesn't repeat so it is Zer0 responding to a challenge and not Jack speaking.
I'm not pretty sure if he's human or cyber we can't tell what the difference are mean he has his electro sword can cut through anything.
Zer0 is my first and favorite vault hunter. Level 50, demolishing the warrior in 30 seconds. I love him.

One thing I really don't get is why Jack wanted Vault Hunters in the first place? Like it made sense in BL1. But in this game, based on these ECHO recordings, he clearly wanted to lure Maya, Zer0, Axton and Salvador into Vault Hunting but then tries to kill them in the beginning of the game anyway?? He even mentions here that he NEEDS a Vault hunter.
If these recordings were all made before BL1, which is when he was looking for hunters to find the Vault, then Maya and the other BL2 characters would've already been looking for it but clearly that didn't happen (they're nowhere to be seen in BL1). They start looking for the Vault in BL2 (aka 5 years after BL1 where the vault is found and opened at the end of the game). So we can assume they were lured a bit before the beginning of this game.
He has no use for vault hunters anymore but for some reason was still interested in luring them to find it?

It’s a common fan theory that zero is not human, mostly from the shape of his hands and feet. The theory states that he is one of the creatures responsible for the creation of the vault that you see in the pre-sequel.
@@SHAPEINTHEGLASS my guess is he's a dude who cyberneticly upgraded himself and has heard of the vault but didn't really care about it until that point.

You....haven't played or finished Borderlands 2, have you?
I'll explain. The reason why Handsome Jack hired Vault Hunters was to, not only kill them, but make sure to lure them to a trap to kill the Crimson Raiders. It's basically like a long-term planning here. The vault hunters were essentially lured to Angel which is Jack's daughter.
In fact, there's a scrapped echo log telling the vault hunters he purposely poisoned Wilhelm to make it look like the vault hunters are a good chance to defeating Jack.
