- This is my first time ever doing a grocery hall in a big store that does bulk. I recently went into a Costco for the very first time, and it was absolutely amazing and on our way home from visiting my family in Iowa I knew that there was a Sam’s Club in Green Bay Wisconsin so we stopped on our way home to do our grocery hall and there were some things that were a good price and there were some things that really weren’t any different than getting in my local grocery store, so we were very careful on what we bought. I’m pretty much set on certain baking supplies until after the holidays. I was so excited to see some of the baking ingredients that were in bulk. It was amazing. I felt like it was Christmas time already.

As a Costco employee I appreciate y’all putting stuff back nicely the way that you did. I’ve been a morning stocker for about 7 years, I come into work during the wee hours of the morning everyday to stock and perfect things and a lot of members trash the place. It means a lot. My job isn’t easy so people like you guys that are respectful in that way have a special place in my heart
It is so refreshing to see how you shop with your children. You are not afarid to show them respect by saying thank you and you are not scared to tell them no. Not in a mean way but just out of respect. Showing them that they dont need everything and that prices matter. So refreshing.

First I like the fact that you make them share snacks😂 Izzy and Noah are something else, they make me laugh. Coming from a family of 9 children you can clearly see they're the youngest of the group. 😅😅😅
I love Sam’s club. I love the parchment paper from there. The 2 pack last me forever. When I was buying the small rolls from Walmart I would go through it so quick. I live over an hour away from Sam’s so I do the plus membership and I order all my paper towels, toilet paper and diapers and get free shipping. I love it.

I agree, not every thing at Sam’s is a good deal just because it’s bulk. But things like parchment paper- you’re just wrong. 😅❤ Those rolls are extra long. So the tube length covers the long side of the sheet. Which means you’re ripping 9-12 inches at a time. Instead of a normal sized roll would fit the short side of the cookie sheet so you’d rip 18 inches at a time. Just because you can buy something for $3, doesn’t mean it’s a good deal, either. It’s like toilet paper math. 😂 you have to compare the square footage. Unit price will get you every time. (Like at GFS, their unit prices on their tags go by ounces on one thing and pounds on another. Just frustrating!)
I describe Sam’s like this: if you’re the type of person that buys 50 of one item every time it’s on sale, don’t get a membership. Because you can probably play the game right and get better deals. But if you like to avoid sale hunting and coupons and want to know everything is at least fairly priced- then go ahead. And the gas prices saved us over the summer….
For us poor folk, Sam’s might as well be Disney land to my kids. They have dubbed it their favorite bathrooms. 😂
Sam's shredded mozzarella is fantastic! It melts very creamy and gooey. The other cheeses are good, but not unusually so. The rotisserie chickens are delicious. The Sam's brand bbq chips are better than name brand and a great price. Ours has a chicken taco meal kit that's fantastic if you need a quick meal in a pinch, but kind I'd messy for on the way home. Lol
I really like how you are realistic about what you need and don't when you grocery shop.

I only shop at Sams for my wife and I. We buy one of those bulk trash bags from Sams once a year 😂 I love watching you shop! It’s so wild to see the differences

Your doing a great job. My friends and I are watching your family like we are neighbors. Lol Don’t stop doing what you do on what others say. If paper works and your family appreciates those cookies you have a happy family don’t change to make others happy. My mom says you are a mom who cares deeply about her cubs. Keep doing what you do!
Once a month I go and spend 300-400 for everything I need. Saves me from going to the store every other day. I get my cheese, fruits, pop, water, laundry soap, diapers, wipes and other things. I love same club

To hold my dry good (flour sugar and rice) I got the twist off lip air tight animal food bins. Holds a 50lb bag of each. Just alil tip from one big family to another.

You can save money by buying a huge thing or 50 lb bag of cane sugar, put some in blender till fine and there's your powdered sugar. Take some more and add mollasses to it till you get light brown and dark brown. I can't wait to get a home so I can start baking and cooking...

You should try the chicken salad! I love it! I try to go to Sam's Club once every 2-3 months. Usually around Easter and before Thanksgiving my mom & I will do a big stock-up trip since that's when they'll have big sales. We also stock up on baking items at that time.
I would recommend - for instance, look at your avocado oil you buy fr Myers, look at how many ounces it is, break down the cost per ounce. So when you look at something and think "I can get that less at xyz, it's good to know what size that is that you buy from your local grocery store" . We buy organic butter..$8 bucks a lb. :( sometimes costco has it on sale and we stock up. We freeze our butter and cheese, well we freeze about everything:)

For me I love their foil and their parchment. It is thicker quality and I don't have to use double layers like I do the cheaper.
You really have to look at sq ft price and check often. Sometimes it is cheaper and other times not.

Avocado oil is cheapest at Aldi. You can get a bag of Himalayan Pink Salt at Dollar Tree too.

This reminds me of my first trip to costco a few months ago. It's an hour away and the only one in my country. I know my prices of the items I get regularly and sometimes costco products were more expensive especially since I'm on my own. I had saved $10 a week for a year from my grocery budget. Some things I bought were for the novelty / treats and others were practical. Next time I go it will be based on savings and a couple of treats.
Love Sams Club! Try there baking sheets for cookies. They work wonderful for baking

I always buy the freezer bags because they can be used for regular storage or for freezing. Why buy regular storage baggies and then purchase freezer bags for frozen food prep?!

Order yourself a "Universal Yums" box and when it arrives use that for an episode of FFF series. You will get to try out all different kinds of snacks and food from countries around the world. I think it would be fun to watch you all try them and grade each one. Just an idea. Thanks
I love Sam’s Club and I only buy what I need there just like you do, but it is hard when you take your kids to the snack aisle or anywhere because I end up buying things I didn’t plan on the last time I went. I walked out with the inflatables for the have the water guns built inside of them and I couldn’t pass up my four year-old was just over the moon with having a rocket ship to go swimming with long story short ended up getting three of them, but they were good price compared to a regular price and another store they were $17 apiece

We do all our paper products at Sam’s - toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, and Kleenex. Member mark brand.

Anyone who puts down a kid needs instant karma because you're obnoxious. My favorite part is when Izzy hugged the cotton candy yet mom still said no. It is nice to shop with no kids but then again it's nice to have worker bees or Bells.

She only has used paper plates for a birthday party if I am not mistaken.
As a European I would be so disappointed if a got plastic cutlery. The paper/plastic plates are ok on a rare occasion but mostly isn't needed and a huge waste creation.

I agree with the garbage comments like she said she don’t know how people feed there kids uncrustables but she buys salty chips and other things with all kind of (garbage) as she calls it I guess nothing she buys has preservatives STOP shaming parents because they feed there kids basically the same way you feed your half grown kid’s😮

Just because the cookies are homemade doesn’t make them healthy. That many cookies with sugar, chocolate, flour and butter are not any healthier. I’ve seen her make comments on the snark Reddit boards of other family vloggers. So, she sees the criticism they get for buying a ton of junk food, spending too much money on grocery hauls and not being environmentally friendly with only using paper products. That now she’s gone to the extreme of being the opposite of that family by being anti “garbage or trash” food, making comments about not using paper products and being on a budget. She is coming off as unauthentic. When she went shopping with Gideon she was a lot nicer to him and didn’t tell him what treats he could or could not buy. He also was throwing stuff in the carts and not organizing the groceries and she didn’t get mad at him. However if Noah or Lizzy doesn’t organize her cart the way she wants she starts criticizing and micromanaging them. I like her videos but lately she’s coming off as holier than thou and it’s annoying and unauthentic.

I love Sam's Club we have one local. Wow I don't know if I could go with you. We do go to make good choices to feed everyone and for prices in this hard time. But the insults about us people that use things that you don't believe in. Things that you said that you couldn't understand cause they where garbage or you make so much better so why would people use or eat. How rude to people that are doing there best. My daughter is q single mother of three kids boys 15 and 13 and and autistic daughter 10. But shw works 16hr shifts to keep roof over head buy food utilities cloth and all most people are faced with in these times. Yes there are paper plates in her house. She would live to bake fresh all the time but when. She does need to sleep some time. I loved your videos. But this I am sorry felt insulting to most.
