Summer My favorite TH-camr and my Igbo/Benin sister. I am currently in tears because I have finally found another diasporan who understands how I feel about Nigeria. I have been in the United States for almost 30 years now and I have never fully been happy here. I’ve never felt like America is home. But when I visit Nigeria, even with all the issues my soul connects to something that I can’t explain and I feel wholesome. I can’t wait to retire and go back home but for now I have to prepare for retiring in the next couple of years. My friend’s husband lives in Nigeria, came to America for a short visit and was killed on Labor Day by a drunk driver. God watched over us and keep us wherever we are, Amen!!
