One quick note since I’ve received questions about Sedona Prince: I don't plan on discussing Prince’s WNBA draft stock on this channel, due to the multiple serious allegations raised against her. I can acknowledge she's one of the best players in the college basketball, but if I was a WNBA talent evaluator, I'd stay away from selecting her. If you aren't familiar with the allegations surrounding Prince, I'll include some links below: - th-cam.com/video/8e5cM6Vsv04/w-d-xo.htmlsi=P85aBhRGBnsyR5lz - www.them.us/story/sedona-prince-olivia-stabile-tiktok-abuse-allegations-petition.
What about Connor from TCU? She is hitting 4 three pointers a game. I like her style. Think she would fit in well with Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever.
Cannot imagine Kelly Krauskopf touching Sedona after reading the article. True or not true, a lot of teams in the Flyover states probably will stay clear of her. Maybe the North East or West Coast may consider it.
Malonga will not get pass the Liberty at 7th. Liberty will draft younger players knowing they will not be in the states for a few years. Probably hoping Malonga takes over for Jonquel Jones in a few years. Right now her biggest issue is her hands. She has a problem catching the basketball. That can be fixed.
Hailey might go top 5 if she keeps this pace...shes been dishing assists like no ones business and they've beaten 2 top ranked teams!!! Her and prince have undeniable chemistry
Yeah lets not push it😭 no way any of the top 3 lottery teams pick her. Mystics need a wing/big not another small guard. Valkeries will definitely not pick her either. They’ll likely go for a franchise type player. HVL at best is a early 2nd round pick and thats if everything goes right for her
Im not a fan of Hailey Van Lith, as a ND fan it very much pained me to watch that game, but facts are facts, she was the best player on the floor in the second half. She has been playing great. It’s like night and day from when she was playing so badly at LSU. (The reason I don’t like her is not that deep, just rivalry stuff from Louisville. she said she hated ND. Which is her right as a competitor lol)
As for Georgia, I’m not trying to be a hater because I’ve enjoyed watching her at VT for years, but she just gives me “good college player, not a WNBA player” vibes. I think she will play overseas. It’s rumored she’s even shorter than 5’6” in real life. Just too short imo.
A little off topic but I find it interesting how Sonia’s defense looks on different players. Off the top of my head I remember some games where it seemed like she does a better job on bigger players vs smaller ones. She made life hard for JuJu, but when Notre Dame played VT last year Georgia had an easier time scoring with Sonia on her versus Hannah. Then in that TCU game Hailey was cooking in that matchup. Just an observation though lol
It’s not just an observation, you are right. Ivey puts her on opponent’s best scorer every time, whether it’s a good matchup or not. She struggles when trying to stick with shorter quick guards. Also Ivey puts her on someone and refuses to deviate from that plan. she leaves Sonia out there to struggle even when it’s not working. It makes no sense, Hannah is right there! This happened with Fair (Syracuse) last year and with HVL on Friday. Citron did an excellent job last year with Paige, and pretty darn good against Juju, but chasing a smaller guard for 40 minutes is not her forte. Her defense mainly depends on fundamentals, anticipation, and discipline because she is not very fast. I will also add HVL was “cooking” because the ND help defense after she got by Citron was…not helping.
@ lol at the “Hannah is right there!” cuz that’s so true, even with larger defenders she does a really good job at finding ways to defend them. So yeah I wonder why she leaves Sonia out there to struggle especially when she’s coming off injury as well
I like Sonia... But I would not want her as much as Azzi for the Chicago Sky. Azzi has shined in more high profile games - lets see if she's healed and can stay healthy this season & how much she grows - With Chennedy Carter I disagree with many Sky fans who think we have to go all in on Point Guard - Teams don't need a traditional point - especially if s/he is small and gets t aken advantage of on defense. If Miles is there take her. But otherwise Take Azzie over Sonia or kiki iriafin. No guarantee you get Azzi if you trade down from 3. Caitlin for whatever reason didn’t, maybe it’s cuz nothing happens in Iowa but those other players earned the attention they got.
not moved by tcu just yet but good for hvl
The fever need to try to trade Smith to move up to take Malonga.
That would be a good move. Another move would be to get Satou Sabally.
@@usveteran9893 It will be difficult to do both unless you are willing to trade away a lot of future picks, which does not seem like a good idea.
Do you think it's a good room for the storm and who will they get as a player?
Excellent analysis
Azzi Fudd is dependent on her health and basically nothing else. HVL has to be an ELITE shooter although truth be told, her ball handling skills are far better then what some are stating. So at the end of the Day, as the Guards in the WNBA continually get bigger, how much will that change her STOCK value.
Will Betts declare?
I’d be surprised since her sister is coming to UCLA next season
I think she stays one more year. She would be the #1 pick in 2026 fs. Plus she wants to play with her stud of a sister I think. That's gonna be historic
Naw she's staying
I'm saying it now Malonga is going in the top 3
Not impossible, but it’s hard to tell with French league players & how feasible it is for them to play every season in the W
Liberty are so annoying they are def getting the 6’6 prospect who can dunk and make threes
I could easily see Hailey van lith to the mystics if she keeps this up
not to be mean by amoore with her height she can’t be a serious wnba player, she can play in Europe or overseas but the wnba is unrealistic
Paige?
Solidly goes #1
I promise it’s okay to not have her in every video lol
