What y'all need to understand is that she killed that whole entire album. With "Miseducation" you need to listen to it from beginning to end, including every single interlude. I can't pick a favourite song from it...that's like asking me to pick a favourite child. That album is a classic, and that woman is a legend.

LH is the lead singer from the Fugees who you’ve previously reacted to. She left them and made this, her only full solo album. It’s 22 years old and it still sounds fresh. It’s very often included in the listings of the Top 25 albums of all time, of all genres. It’s a masterpiece. Every track is good. There are no fillers. She never really did a full album after it, but she toured the world two years ago to celebrate 20 years since the album was released. I saw her at the o2 arena in London - an amazing show.

What i was articulating that you shouldnt treat them( Marley and Laruyn's relationship) like their some prized dogs and their children will be this "super hybrid". You portraying them as breeding dogs says alot about you and your character as well. She's singing about a narcissistic person and how many times she's overwhelmed with the cheating and she's ashamed of allowing herself 2 be there still💯💯
Wyclef wrote a book & he has interviews very open about his long time affair with Lauryn while he was married. He said on the road him and Lauryn were a couple. Their relationship was intensely sexual and creative. When they came off the road he went home to his wife. He said this album is about their relationship. He felt betrayed when she got pregnant with Zion by another man. He wanted the baby to his... but he was married & is still married to the woman today. She knew they were having an affair. Lauryn kept breaking it off but he’d keep coming back. She wanted him to leave his wife. His wife is the safe choice. When he speaks of Lauryn you know his heart will never be over her. He’s a jerk
Tina Marie that kind of warps my opinion on them. Idk much about the group since I didn’t grow up on them but I didn’t know they were having an affair.

I was thinking the same thing sometime they will listen to RnB and Hip hop it would be music from their parents generation and most kids grow up listening to their parents music.

Yes she did blessed the world with her children but that doesnt mean that her children will take the same path as she or her partner did. Likewise i can understand if you took offense to what i said i only what to be loving ,real and authentic to ALL Gods children. Only spreading love not hate God bless you😊😊
She's singing about a narcissistic person and how many times she's overwhelmed with the cheating and she's ashamed of allowing herself 2 be there still💯💯
Wyclef wrote a book & he has interviews very open about his long time affair with Lauryn while he was married.
Clef. It's about Clef.
Drake sampled this song in Nice for what.. if you guys didn’t know. Queen Lauryn is thee goat!
" Killing me softly " Lauren hill ....one of a kind legendary, god given talent. Born to sing and give us poetry thur music. 🇨🇦🙏🏻

So early, lol. glad the younger generations are exposing themselves to these classics.
Yes, I love that the young ones are getting exposed to excellent music. It warms my heart to watch it take place. 💜
I have that CD somewhere. I'd have worn it to shreds if it was a cassette
Yesss and look at their faces too, they are loving it
Y’all are too too cool!!! Love your appreciation for ‘old school’ 90s music 🎶 This is what I listened to when I was your age! Keep educating yourselves! This is great! 💗

I’ve been trying to get people to react to Teena Marie for the longest.
You can listen to this album whisker to tail and still be wanting more. One of the best.
FYI she is in the fugees. You listen to couple of their songs before.
"Everything is Everything" is my favorite song off that album. But honestly the whole album is a straight up classic. Thanks for posting.
Lauryn Hill is the female singer with the Fugees.
Doo Wop is her banger.
I still get chills when I hear this song....raw emotion.....!!!
I'm instantly like 20 when I hear this song. Soooooo good 👍
@antikristy, SAME! Lol wasted my tears on some dumbasses to this tune 😂
@@kristenpeterson3930 "that breakup" is always associated with this song!
Lauryn Hill is the same female singer from the Fugees. She also starred in Sister Act 2. She has kids for Bob Marley's son. She is epic. Gifted. Yes, her album is off the chain. I'm so proud of u boys & what it doing. When music was music and had a real message
Aint no way y’all have black parents and haven’t heard Ex Factor. Who raising y’all?
ROFLMAO...
jmarie988 i think their grandparents raised them
I was thinking the same thing sometime they will listen to RnB and Hip hop it would be music from their parents generation and most kids grow up listening to their parents music.
hahahahahahaha
Hey now... leave these young men alone they are influencing they generation to look back at what we love.
This whole album is a masterpiece! This was a pleasure to watch.
That entire cd is great
This song helped me through my worst heartbreak! This song described the relationship to a tee. I LOVE me some Lauryn Hill, the music on the whole album is just IT!!! You should also check her out in her original group The Fugees. Gurl had her rap game on point with The Fugees.
Y’all gotta react to her performance on Sister Act, “Joyful Joyful”, and might as well listen to that “Oh Happy Day!” while you’re at it!
Oh!& that “His Eye is on the Sparrow”
[Thumbs this up, so they can see❤️]
I had to watch you with this song. Because when I first heard this song it stopped me in my tracks. I literally stopped and just listened then after I was changed. It blew my mind and soul. Peace and much Love
You guys heard her before when you played the Killing Me Softly by the Fugees. Lauren Hill was their lead singer at the time and sang lead on that song, which you also loved.
I use to listen to this on repeat. Bittersweet memory. Love Lauryn Hill
You can hear John Legend in the background. He's making sure you can hear him towards the end of the song.
Yo never knew that, i definitely heard him on the second listen.
learn something new everyday
I was today years old when I realized he was in this song
Sparklezmusic89 wow, ty!
I didn’t know that either! Thanks
Lauryn was also really young when this album came out too, like 23. She was so sophisticated. I really admired her.
Also, fun side note* That’s the master, the legend- the One and Only Carlos Santana on the sexy, soulful guitar rift at the end! 🎸🎸🇲🇽
Omg I didn’t know💕💕💕
The ENTIRE ALBUM! I saw her in Atlanta, GA with Outkast and Eryka Badu and this was THEE best concert!!
