I am visiting Japan and will be in Sabae around the beginning of November. I was trying to look into the local transportation. As I won't have a car. I am excited to see the garden and the pandas but I also am looking forward to maybe getting a pair of glasses made. Would love any insight from a local. Thanks

great video! Fukui so underated and glad covered this time! Eiheiji is one of the most surreal temples and Tojimbo also stunning! Fukui also offers a variety of local foods including ramens! I hope to see more videos like this one Japan has way many more places deserving attention other than Tokyo!

Thank you! I honestly have only done one Tokyo vid for another channel, but personallly I feel it’s too overdone and there is so much out there like Fukui that deserves way more attention! Fukui is top tier for me I love it 😍

13:57 The statures were deliberately destroyed when Japanese government (Meiji) made an official policy of separation of Shinto and Buddhism. Anyways nice adventure, I enjoyed it a lot.!

Unfortunately some of my gear maxes at 4k 30p, also the general recommended for TH-cam is 30 (or 29.97) I hope I can upgrade the gear more in the future. thanks for the feedback though always appreciated

    Nice video.
I have lived in Fukui for about 2 years now. It's a good place (to visit).
Here are some pros and cons from my own opinion about living in Fukui, if you are interested.
Overall, you will have a good time here...for a while.
    Pros:
    Amazing food
    Beautiful nature
    Decent beaches
    ...That's it really
    Cons:
Ugly cities (very boxy and industrial looking. This is typical in Japan)
    A lot of traffic
Poorly maintained and designed road systems
Crazy snow storms in the winter
Poor public transport (you really need a car here)
    People are very xenophobic
About 3.5 hours away from closest international airport
The schools are very old with out dated interior as if from the 80's (if you were going to teach here)

I think as a visitor I really enjoy Fukui, but maybe living there would be different
