Nassau Adventures & a Smelly Surprise on Nieuw Amsterdam!

Day 2 of our Caribbean group cruise brought us to Nassau for a short but fun port day! We explored the town near the port, checked out the Straw Market, and enjoyed drinks and snacks at the pier. Back onboard Nieuw Amsterdam, we had another dinner with our group in the Main Dining Room, with mixed results in food quality. The evening took a hilarious turn as we stumbled upon the “Poop Deck,” an area with an unfortunate odor that led to plenty of laughs. Only been to Nassau once. We took a very rushed tour. Next time I want to see a specific Bond movie (Thunderball) filming location. Only had Kalik once and no others so I'll check that one out next time down. My wife loves crab cakes and I like them too. Thanks for posting!
