- What is THE BEST ranged weapon in Minecraft Dungeons? In this video, I will talk about the most popular Top Tier Ranged Weapons in Minecraft Dungeons and which one of them is the best to use for the maximum Apocalypse Plus difficulty levels. I will show you the best Enchantments, talk about their pros and cons and of course recommend you which one I would use in certain situations. Some ranged weapons are great for close quarter combat, work pretty much as shotguns, while others are nice to snipe down tanky enemy targets or are just great for speed running or having as sidearm for healing. I really like to have something which is very balanced, so we are having a look at the Winter's Touch, Harp Crossbow and Exploding Crossbows mainly as well as other ones like the Guardian Bow and Red Snake which are definitely the most popular ones in the game. Time to get real!

I have a harp crossbow with growing and infinity and I combine it with the torment quiver, and... Let's just say it's pretty good crowd control, not to mention my soul-based gear
You must be extremely lucky to find one with growing cause I can only find ones with piercing and tempo theft which still isn't bad but still

Is radiance critical hit and shockwave good on resolute tempest knife?
I have a love spell bow (I think around 125 power), and since it’s a short bow it charges very quickly, and I get tons of arrows. This combined with overcharge, and supercharge (I forgot what the 3rd enchantment is, but it doesn’t really matter) results in a bow that can fully overcharge faster than most normal or long bows take to fully charge, and it deals upwards of 250,000 damage a shot.

I really like the Auto Crossbow with multishot, chain reaction and fuse shot and it's really good at crowd control
If I'm being honest I think the elite power bow is actually very good my original power bow always did more damage than even my unique ranged weapons. now I know that damage is not the only important thing in ranged weapon you also need to get rid of crowds and speed is also important but if your telling me that it does 1000 damage even when it is at lever 50 with supercharge then that is kind of a steal
I like my Gilded Purple Storm with bonus shot and shock web, I have tried countless others, but it just is so helpful to weaken the mobs, especially enchanted ones and also stops them to do anything. It has Increased Fire Rating and Extra Damage to Enchanted mobs in itself. I rarely run out of arrows. But I don't know how well it will work on the higher levels, I just opened apocalypse plus. I often forget to roll, so anything with that will be almost useless for me. I guess I should learn to roll :D I got Winters Touch too, but have not tried that yet. I am watching these tip videos now to get better settings.
you could use soul speed, swiftfooted and cooldown, soul speed is when you get 5 souls you can go pretty fast, and with boots of swiftness, ghost cloak and death cap you can go insanely fast

I have a pride of the piglins from the tower with the chain reaction and the multishot enchantment. (i dont have the dlc) so basicly i shoot 5 arrows really fast and all of those 5 arrows have either piercing, multishot or a chain reaction.
**Thanks for making these videos; I actually have the Corrupted Crossbow (133) Enchantments; Chain Reaction/Gravity/Growing Rapid Fire/Temp Theft/X X/X/Ricochet. I know they suck but it is what it is. I actually have 4 Harp and 3 Lightning Harp Crossbows and all have nothing close to your suggested enchantments. I have learned a few things from your videos that I didn't know before - so for that I thank you.

I use my scattershot bow with multishot, the enchantment that adds and extra shot, and I use that in combination with my firework arrow and it does nuts damage, it also brings you fps down a ton if you hit a lot of enemies, it one hits enderman of the same level as you
I have some bow combo's that are pretty decent.
First of al is for crowded enemy's: the gilded green menace (gilded with multishot) with Overcharge, Supercharge and void strike.
For my boss slayer its the gilded elite power bow which has the exact same enchantments as the bow decribed above.
I use my Winter's Touch that has Multishot, Overcharge, and Critical hit. It's also gilded with Unchanting II and each arrow does about 5mil damage and with a torment quiver, they do about 2.2mil damage. So imagine those arrows but about 10-15 of them all at once.
Edit: also imagine them with critical hit
I play with friends, and I got a rapid crossbow with accelerating, infinity, and punch. Very useful for reenacting the moon landing!
The lightning harp was my first unique and I always use it I recommend the lighting crossbow
My sister has a harp crossbow with multishot, piercing, and growing/wild rage, and it is op.
I love my harp c-bow so much. Mine has Multishot for a chance to shoot 10 arrows instead of 5, infinity so the fireworks/flame quiver could be used multipe times if you get lucky with procs and Chain reaction so if i hit a mob theres a chance for it to shoot arrows in all directions which is super op with fireworks. Guaranteed to clear whole rooms and usually will 2 shot most bosses just about. Its pretty much just a rocket Shotgun lol
Personally my favourite ranged weapon is the exploding crossbow because if you get one with richocet then its really fun to use. Honestly though I'll just take anything that explodes and fires multiple arrows
I personally love using my Mechanical Short-bow with fuse shot, multi-shot, ricochet, chain reaction. Its literally fighters bindings but a bow and if i'm surrounded by a bunch of mobs (which my sturdy shulker armour takes care of) i can literally start mowing them all down. It deals little damage but it can punch like a machine gun. I've never died with it on my build.
Mechanical shortbow is very good
When I was doing around apocalypse 3 I got a mechanical short bow with overcharged dynamo and I can’t remember the last enchantment but when fully charged with dynamo and overcharged it did around 200,000 and with a gong even more

How does Piercing stack with chain reaction? I don't have a setup for testing it myself. Also, multishot and/or harp crossbow with the double thing?

I remember when I first played Minecraft dungeons I had a blue crossbow that I think was called the quivverd crossbow, and it was really good because you could spamfire it.

Try using acceleration multi-shot and power or dynamo on your harp crossbow it very op
I have a power 231 sabrewing bow with overcharge that charges up to 4 times, Dynamo, and tempotheft. I'm currently working on getting super charge in exchange for tempotheft because I want MORE POWER!! By itself it does around 30 million with max Dynamo and overcharge. But when I play with a friend, they use weakening and void strike on their melee weapon.
We found out that if you rack up the multiplayer of void strike on the melee weapon then wait for 2 seconds then hit it again before the void strike vanishes, the damage from his melee weapon goes from 300,something thousand to 1.5 million for regular melee hits without Dynamo.
Getting back to the bow we decided to try the same tactic where he racks up the void strike, I get my bow fully Dynamo'd, charge it up 4 times, use the gong of weakening on the enemy/ boss, wait for him to stop hitting, count 2 seconds, and release the arrow.
Because the sabrewing doesn't have a fixed damage count, the damage dealt fluctuates from lower 300 MILLION TO MIDDLE 400 MILLION DAMAGE.
What's even better is that I don't yet have the supercharge enchantment on it, only the overcharge enchantment. If I did get my hands on that enchantment and the damage I did with my current set up was 400 million, the supercharge enchantment would add 40% damage to it making it 560 million damage.

Have you tried using ghost arrows artifact with the feral soul crossbow with dynamo stacks? I was doing 75k dmg hits with a lvl 40 bow
Also makes the arrows go through wall and multiple enemies so far has oneshot all enemies in front of it
I have a crossbow (unique soul variant I think) with the Unset enchantment.
i have a power bow with supercharge and overcharge which let me do some heavy damage, i mean considering the ammo is limited i just use it to kill only tanky mobs or boss. i use another bow that has void enchanment on it and i quickly swap my power bow and it can almost three shot a boss
I have harp crossbow will multi shot, insanely op and I also use fireworks so I can have like 10 firework projectiles
The harp crossbow with chain reaction, multishot, and infinity is just arrows and more arrow
Cheapest and easiest bow to get is the shortbow.
It synergizes so well with overcharge cause it ignores almost completely the charging time to reach 3 charges.
After that you try and focus on enchaments that simply give extra damage like Supercharge, growing, power or void strike. As for the 3rd enchament you can etheir go for a more aoe approach with ricochet or for another damage enchament. It hits like a truck and it's perfect to deal with strong mobs or bosses.
Easy to farm and with a bit of luck you can get a gilded one with one of these enchaments.
Harp Crossbow with ricochet and fire aspect is pretty good ngl.
i got a harp with multishot, richochet and poison cloud its really good for crowds and in levels like ??? lol and i also got a auto crossbow with infinity, rapid fire and radiance shot its literally a minigun but heals me

The autofire crossbow once it's upgraded can be REALLY good against bosses. I wouldn't recommend it for adventuring though

I love and personally use the firebolt thrower with gravity, multishot and growing/power. The amount of AOE damage from the explosions is incredible

If you get an elite power bow and glitch it above 300something power and put the dynamo and supercharge exchange on it you can make the damage go up to the integer limit
EDIT: I'm not sure this works on the current version.
I use a saber wing with overcharged and paired with void strike and gong of weakening it does over 1m damage (I unlocked apocalypse+ 1 2 and 3 the other day so that is a lot of damage for somebody like me)

Rapid crossbow with accelerate, infinity, and fuse shot is literally a fully auto grenade launcher that basically never runs out of ammo. I also like the mechanical shortbow for some reason. Been grinding to try to find one with overcharge, supercharge, and either power or unchanting. Does anybody know if that combo is even possible? I don't know that I've ever seen that on any bow.

I am very early in the game so I have an auto crossbow with fuse shot and raidience shot and it goes well with my summoner build
Imploding Crossbow with chain reaction is awesome for clearing combine that with a firework rocket ans u created a nuke

Use Harp crossbow with muiltyshot power and fuse shot it does a lot
For bosses I use the Power bow that does 318-320 million dmg which 1-2 shot bosses

I really like Elliott's Power Bow. The Elliott's Powe bow with the right Enchantments it can kill the boss very fast.

The auto crossbow with thief armour and three death cap mushrooms literally allows you to kill a redstone monstrosity in a matter of seconds
use full dynmo plus torment arrows to one shot anything

Oh lol im new and i just got the harp crossbow
Elite power bow; Critical hit, Overcharge, piercing. AOE is horrible but where it excels is taking out whichever desired target you wish anywhere on the screen. Protection enchanted leap leaf? Give it 2 seconds and dead. Critical hit on a boss with no artifacts active? Half it’s health or death. Pesky thorns or deflect enemy? YOU die because even a regular shot from this thing does 1 million damage and the one I have is only level 177. Not even at max apocalypse. It’s a sniper rifle and I love it.
Saberwing bow with overcharge and super charge is powerful because it can one hit redstone golems and one shot Boses and vindicator raid captain is one shot

The harp is the best beacuse you could just go up face to face to a boss ( after you debuff them for a certain time ) and them spam it
I don't know why, but on my Switch the Imploding Crossbow does not loose Dynamo Stacks. It hits like a truck even without the quiver. Every shot has 20 stacks of Dynamo now. I only loose stacks, if I die. Could have been the update though. Last night 20/21 of June we got an update to MD. It's the european version. I live in Germany.

My gaurdian bow has MULTI-CHARGE, my anchor has dynamo, artifact synargy, and crit, my armour has -40 artifact cooldown and multirole and acrobat!!
I think the elite power bow because in my Minecraft dungeons I’m level 150 and my bows dose 500, 0000 . The enchantment on it are overcharge and the dynamo
I use imploding crossbow with ricochet and chain reaction I shoot at a horde I lag everything is dead.
I hace a bow that deals 2000-3900 Damage per shot and it is a Incredible bow because it can kill a boss in less than 40 seconds Or so, i have overcharge in it to Top the damage even more i've been using it to kill boss so fast
What difficulty
Ive found that the bone bow ( one where arrows grow in size ) paired with the artifact quiver that makes arrows pass through walls fits the play style i use personally
