Idk about that if we are losing tickets then this new pattern is actually worse because guaranteed featured doesn’t matter if you are just getting some 3 year old trash. We are losing a lot of free summons that we used to get from tickets.
Last anniversary I was getting 11 multis in 310 stones( including the 1st discount rotation and 21 tickets) but this time for 325 stones I am only getting 9 multis just 1 guaranteed featured isn’t gonna cut it toon

They have no idea what a “sync” is, they have done barely anything to move along the sync for the whole year.
Some examples of this:
1) They gave only half of the GLOBAL FIRST GOKU BLACK to us on Global, but then give the full celebration on JP like what!?
2) Every time Global gets a banner they need, JP get 1-2 more banners that we have to catch up on, which doesn’t help with the sync at all and only leads to a statement. I have no idea why they don’t just release everything global need in one big celebration, and the boom were synced.
3) They have barely told any of us players anything about the sync besides announcing it and saying when we will be sync but we will still be missing stuff on global because they refuse to just spam release stuff in global.

I think the most annoying part of this is the “here is where the unification is happening” followed by “we will go into detail later in the 9th anniversary”. Like what’s stopping you from telling me your very poorly thought out schedule. And why waste time in 2 weeks trying to keep people excited to most likely tell us something that we already knew. Maybe after seeing how confused and distrusting people are they will word this next dokkan now very carefully in 3ish weeks.
This was doctor strange in infinity war. They had hundreds, even thousands of outcomes to go about this. But they chose the ONE outcome. I’m dying of thirst watching another man drown. WE ARE DOKKAN!!!💀
People / Organisations are remembered by how they respond to certain situations, sadly the unification fumbles will be remembered long after the sync.
If the sync was handled more professionally and communication to players was more transparent this would have been a great accomplishment for the dokkan team, respect and faith in the game and developers would have been at an all time high.
Sad to see how this has been handled, would love to see them prove they learned from this and not let anything like this happen again.

It’s annoying how they promoted this to be a special event, and all that they said was confirming sync after worldwide and the banner which is amazing!!! Everything they revealed was amazing but from what they promoted everyone was expecting something like an Eza or unit but instead we got a global small w
Bandai/Akatsuki is Dr Beverly Hofstadter, global is like Leonard Hofstadter (Big Bang Theory) who is constantly neglected and JP is the more successful sibling that gets all the love and attention.
If I knew global was going to be like this, I wouldn't have downloaded that version in 2017.
I've played this game since 2nd anniversary on Global. The fact that banners will start coming out at the same time starting in August is good enough for me. That is a bigger win than a potential delay in UI goku. Also we get 2 anniversaries within 6 months of eachother. The next 6 months on global gonna be hype
Same here. I think global will have still best year ever from here until tanabata next year, better than any year in dokkan jpn basically. At least 3 events in a year each giving 1000 stones.
Yeah so many people are angry because ui, cell max, etc. are delayed but it's always been like that hasn't it? (Well maybe I'm not really mad because I was planning on skipping all of these banners anyway)

Yeah they really should’ve just said nothing about the sync last year, they’ve done literally NOTHING about it until now, where they just confirmed the timeframe. That promise dangled over people’s heads for too long so I understand the anger, but it is kinda out of hand
For me, it's that people like Toon could make 10-15 minute videos EXPLAINING how they could sync the games, and they still fumbled! A billion dollar company couldn't plan out the sync in time? Really? There was 50+ ways to sync us! It shows a lack of planning, or maybe even a lack of care.
The discounted banners aint making me feel better the dokkan now was presented horribly and august for the "unification" will not happen it should have been futher explained now
I’m happy with the banner discounts and it’s pretty good. But the unification was announced too early, and since we don’t have for info, it feels like an afterthought.
I’m really disappointed with how they have been handling content. The Goku Black “Celebration” was so biased since in Global we got almost nothing and in JP, they got Goku Black’s SEZA and Cell Max. We will get the content eventually but man, it stings since it was a “Global First”.
Of course I’m happy about the Anniversary, but everything outside it has me worried. Just hope Dokkan eventually leaves this era, since it’s been pretty hard handling the JP bias and incomplete content.
I’m tired Dokkan. Please be better.
People are talking about how hyped global is going to be but I think it's the opposite. I think that global is about to be royally screwed until post 10th anni. We have 9th anni starting now, then a month after it ends we go into wwdc. Then we have to get toppo/Cell max somewhere in the mix. Then we have tanabata in November most likely. Then we have new years and then we have anni.
Once the chain starts with anni, Global is going to have no downtime and no time to save. It's going to be brutal for stones especially if you want someone like toppo. Good luck out there.

I wonder if the part 2 beast and gamma banners will also have the step-up system. Common sense would dictate that they do, but we clearly don't operate on common sense here. If they don't then it may change the way I plan to summon. Initially I was just going to focus the beast banner because it has more stuff I want/need, but if the part 2 banners don't have the step-up, then it may be worthwhile to shoot a 250-ish stone shot on one of the part one banners first.
Slightly unrelated, but I also can't wait to spend a year+ worth of stones on these amazing banners we're finally getting just for them to be borderline useless when we sync up in August and get access to stages that are specifically designed around having units we haven't gotten access to yet.

13:50 there's still the holiday banner that shows up in December on both versions, which will feature the Tanabata unit along with the Anniversary DFE units. Lets see how this goes now..
The theory toon presented earlier is looking more valid. From worldwide on we will have the same banners pretty big step there. That’s synched. The handful of units we don’t have, and yes it’s only a handful will either come on Halloween on what would normally be a trap banner or they will be released for global when they are re-released for JP. Toon called that a while ago and it looks like that’s the way it goes down. The one thing I am curious about is what will they do for the global anniversary moving forward. Will it just be a standard Tanabata celebration? Will it be global anniversary that we both celebrate? What will this years thank you celebration look like?
I'm not upset by the news at all, I kinda figured it would be during WWDC. Stoked about the summon discounts though!!
I've been playing Dokkan non-stop since starting during the 7 year. Idk why they would even bring up discussions about a synchronization and for a YEAR we've gotten the same loophole response.
My personal biggest worry from this is the lack of summon tickets. I feel like this means we will be completely losing the global summon advantages by the 10th anniversary.
I honestly don’t mind it lets me know what’s coming up and to skip or save I never wanted both versions to sink up tbh
@ToonRami For future reference, there are extensions that censor profanity on websites automatically. Might be a nice tool to have in the toolbox and turn on when recording.

They let me down too many times leading to anniversary so I just chilled then went to sleep. Figured would just check to see what was given today. If was wrong would be happily wrong. Hey, Toon, first of all congrats for hitting 90k. I am happy with the step-ups and personally I don't feel like it's the end of the world because of said controversy. We shouldn't break our minds for the future sync, it's not rocket science. Personally I don't think Dokkan team is to blame 100% as it's not their fault ppl had preconceptions about how or when the sync will take effect.
I was expecting/hoping this meant we could skip the carnival banners prior to the video and coin them during wwdc. I feel better about that at least.

The communication is bad ofc due to the fact that we are waiting a lot of time to actually get some information about the content we are waiting for... BUT, the important thing is that we are getting a HUGE win on the banners and we are finally have some insight about the sync in WWC witch i believe will hapen...

There is a stage that gives zeni called “big bucks Hercule” in the growth section. Hope that helps. Try to get as many of the coins from after the fight section as they give the most zeni
Go to Dragon Ball Story section, then click on "Galactic Crisis, Super guy in the galaxy", thats the Bojack movie event, then enter and clear stage 10 with a full movie heroes category team and rinse and repeat, fastest way to get zeni, faster than eza battles thats for sure!

Honestly as someone who is free to play and has saved up 1200 dragon stones in total to summon for all four banners, I view this as a big W

Honestly personally i just want the characters to be able to drop on other banners such as cell max being able to drop from a carnival banner and i wouldnt mind if toppo was a unit on a dokkan fest banner and dyspo being a banner unit we would be able to get dyspo from the dokkan fest banner as unfeatured hince i pulled my first evil 21 on a dokkan fest banner if they were just able to be picked up from banners. I honestly dont care about whatever carnival comes out for p2 but i do want ui alot and same with the july dokkanfest on jp that character on another banner adds value to the banner especially if they are good like toppo
Well I got around 1k dragon stones. So i'm going 250 on Broly, 250 on Gogeta - and even if I don't get'em, the rest 500 remaining are going for Beast Gohan.
Maybe they don't want to tell the details for when ui goku comes so people would spend there stones on the anni banners instead of saving for ui goku if let say he comes between anni and ww celeb
After all, my fear that we would not receive any compensation for the shortened time until the dragon stones were synchronized was almost completely shattered. I don't know how many dragon stones we would have gotten that way, but from where I had seen information, there was a difference to JP
Were the banners initially going to be 30, 40, 50, free? That would be 240 stones for 8 spins. If so, it comes down to if the 10% chance for the banner unit (believe 10 featured ssr's on banner?) is worth it costing 15 more stones and losing a full 10 summons. Again, I'm not sure what the banners looked like, though, but if they were 4 step discount rotations, the current banner would cost 15 more stones for the same odds of a feature but with 10 fewer random characters (that could be a feature).
edit: As to the sync, I don't think we'll get the same banners as JP. Their entire thing was adding the characters we are currently missing would require more stuff to be done, meaning they couldn't be on a new banner like JP would get before that happens. They will most likely replace those units with something else for global.
Previous Anniversary's only had a one time discount of 30 - 35 - 45 - Free. Then it's 50 - 50 - 50 - Free after the initial discounts. With 3 tickets on each multi that used stones.

Most people who were paying attention could probably already guess that they would not come up with something in a good way for this Synch since they haven't done almost anything that was clearly something that would speed up the releases. Just a few events/EZA's here and there, and they had time to speed up things, but they didn't do it...
Why would they talk about this right before the anniversary knowing that would piss off the community
the best thing they can do, is keep the global celebs as well as the JP celebs, such as the thank you celebration, and have the tanabata units show up on global and JP together, allowing JP to purchase with coins, (hopefully on global as well, i doubt it). whilst celebrating the JP anniversary together, and renaming the global anniversary to another celebration, OR pulling that celebration back 1 or 2 months (during JPs dead time) to give time to buffer for worldwide as well for player's who aren't too hype on small/regular banners. and have a REAL FULL SYNC during JP anni or saiyan day earliest. all of which could've been done last year..... -_- #OMATSUISTRASH
Toon, based on your 1st rerun for Jp equals the 1st appearance for Global idea, if we don't get Tec UI Goku until March 2025 instead of Dec like we normally get the Tanabata unit, Im rioting. For all of you who are lost or concerned simply look back at OPTC's Sync like 2 years ago-ish. COMPLETE disaster. Same company...
Literally the same BS happening all over again. Except in that disaster they folded Korea into Global (b/c there were 3 versions) and for the inconvenience of having to re-favorite their boxes they gave them 12-14 multies worth of currency...So for several months it was DOMINATION by the Koreans on leaderboards thanks to the extra currency. We also got rushed banners, were missing units, the post sync has been awful b/c their "effort" went way down. Lots of translation errors, ability errors, banner errors. Just a giant mess. Plus we lost Foresight and for non-whales, foresight was immeasurably good! Let's us know what to spend on and what to skip.
Sync was ONLY good for their pocketbooks.

The only thing that gets me, it keeps happening over and over is:
“We will reveal more details on the unification at *insert time*” And then when *insert time* comes around, they just go “Here’s the schedule details! Unification will start sometime soon, more details will come at *new insert time*”
It just screams, we don’t really have a set in stone plan on what we’re doing. Just more communication and information. There wasn’t any need to announce this a year ago imo

It would be Smart for them to give us lr cell max during part 3 of the anniversary and then have the toppo celebration have a part two and give us lr ui goku

Classic case of not knowing your audience.
1. An overwhelming majority of players who watch Dokkan Now already follow Dokkan JP and thus what the units are. This wasn't news.
2. Disappointing lack of detail on sync.
3. Step up banner is at best slightly better than the free ticket system from previous years, definitely not something big.
4. What was the super exclusive Global news? The step up banner 'news' was underwhelming.

@Monodexus ive literally been seeing this type of reply since they announced the sync. Which, by the way, toon and most of us predicted anyway. So, no, they didn't say anything new since wwdc is synced anyway, and we shpuld expect a lot from them. They are the game producers and developers. Its one thing to say people expected too much last year but bro a mo th before the sync. Thats inexcusable.
A year to get a game caught up is not expecting that much, especially when we had dead trash like 1st form frieze
its not that they "dont know" they have a plan but they haven't fully finalized everything yet, why announce a plan that CAN change knowing how terrible this community acts normally, be as vague as possible until everything is 100% finalized
