Great video justin. I was fortunate to have a sequential drumtracks back in 1990. This had a great linndrum like set as standard and was a great drum machine.
All of the manufacturers of these classic devices should tool-up and re-issue them. Not at crazy prices. Sequential did that with the Prophet-5 and Prophet-10. I hope they re-issue the Pro-One as well.
I hear Behringer are doing a LinnDrum clone, undoubtably it's going to sell well. Once they see how profitable reissuing these old drum machines is I expect they'll start remaking them.
Yeah I did it took a few attempts as well! And the hats aren't quite perfect - a few of the notes should be accented differently but I couldn't be bothered.
The Drumtraks (as shipped) has the following sounds: The Bass, Claps, Tamb and Cowbell are from the LM-1 The Snare, Tom and Hi Hat are from the DX / DMX The Rim, Cabasa, Crash and Ride are from the Linndrum So if you want all LM-1 swap everything except those that are already LM-1 If you're doing just this beat you only need to swap the snare, hi hat and cabasa
@@philippecharbonneau7258 you could put the conga anywhere but if you want a hi and lo conga available on 2 seperate buttons you'd have to put it in the tom channel

Sounds great
Excellent!👌
when god created musicians...he said Let There Be PRINCE!
NICE
I always wondered if those hi hats were played live or programmed.
Where did you get LM-1 eproms? I have a drumtraks as well. I think it sounds way fatter and better than any sampler.
I burnt them using a USB EPROM programmer. The binaries I found on an old webpage using the wayback machine.
@@juztinmullinz awesome! thanks for responding. ill check it out
Hey Justin! Could I pay you to make me a LM-1 snare and Hat eprom ?
Can you sell me an Eprom for the Sequential of the LM2's clap/tamb and kick and snare?

Which of the Drumtraks sound did you swap for the LM-1 sounds? I'm about to do the same.

@@juztinmullinz thanks! LM-1 has congas too, which sounds would you replace for those?
