If I am not wrong the note pro plus has ip69 and not ip68+
Two phones both has IP66, IP68 and IP69 certifications.
the IP68 and IP69 are two different metrics, the IP68 is for immersion resistance while the IP69 is for temperature resistance
@@GizmoChinaTubeYou mention it's a better camera for the series but the note 14 pro is a massive camera downgrade. The pro+ is an upgrade with the telephoto but the pro is much worse camera wise compared to the 13 pro

@@arefinsami7820 LYT600 is a budget sensor which is only 1/1.96". The hp3 was 1/1.4". The hp3 is a far higher end and much more expensive sensor. Huge difference in size. That's a big downgrade. The pro+ is OK as that's using the OV50E which is 1/1.55" so not too much smaller
i don't think Indian people are now much curious about Xiaomi 's "Note series".

-This year i.e 2024, all smartphones will be on "Android 14" only.

why do people hate curved screen? it is elegance, harder to make, feels more premium in hand, looks bezelless, easier to grip and absolutely immersive. rmn14pp got 6400mAh battery? man that is absolutely life changing

It's fast enough to last you for the next 5 years unless you plan to game then your best is still an iphone 15 pro max which is around 3 times the price of this budget phone.

Hi, is it expected a in depth full review of 14 Pro+ on the website with full scale photo samples? The telephoto camera and the big battery look promising, especially for the price.
sheeps follow sheeps and just go "i hate curve screen" but when you actually have it in your hands and its on the table with other's phone, those curve screen look very futuristic. anyway i'm glad more curved screens are back for the kids that has never seen an s7 edge.
Not exactly a fan of curved screens here, not because of the looks (they look nice, not gonna lie), but more like practicallity (hard to put screen protector). However, since I usually use vertical flip cases with high enough inner edges to raise above the screen I doubt that I will have a problem with the curved screen without a protector.

im currently using vivo v17 pro using chipset Snapdragon 675 (2019) it's 5 years old and it can smoothly playing 4k video on yt even 4k HDR. so I guess redmi note 14 plus also can do that since it's new chipset.

The note 14 pro is a disappointment. Massive downgrade from a 1/1.4" sensor to a 1/1.96" one. The note 14 pro+ is good. Nice they added a decent telephoto. The LPDDR4x ram and ufs 2.2 storage on some variants is a bit of a cut back though. Last year's note 13 pro+ has ufs 3.1 and LPDDR5 on all variants

If the pro lost the jack, Redmi Turbo 3 seems like a better buy. It has better processor, almost similar camera hardware, faster charging and costs about the same since the price has slightly gone down

They have dumped the audio jack. The Redmi Note phones used to be the only ones with relatively decent hardware and the jack. Now they've lost it. Bluetooth headphones go to hell together with jackless phones.

I've decided to buy 14T instead of the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus simply because I really dislike the design 😢 And the price difference between the phones isn't actually as big as I thought.
Comparing the 13 Pro Plus, it's going for 450$ after tax in my country. And the launch sale price of 14T is just 500$ after tax. So, I just bought that one instead of waiting for the, for me, ugly Redmi Note 14 release outside China 😢

android 18 is the last one that phone will get. If it had 15 in the box it would have been a best buy for the pro or 14t.

Tbh I am a lil bit dissapointed with regular Note 14 for ditching ultra wide shooter and retaining that useless crappy-ass 2mp macro lens. At least my regular Note 10 have ultra wide lens despite being released almost 4 years ago.
