      It is OB shine. One part Shellac, one part Boiled Linseed oil and one part denatured alcohol (methylated spirits) It was created by an old guy who is no longer with us, and Captain Eddie Castelin is largely responsible for the spread and sharing of the recipe and how to use it.

    The only thing that could have made this piece better is if you somehow could have worked in a tiny deathclaw, unless you don't know about fallout, and just happened to make a piece with a name nearly identical to an infamous phenomenon from the fallout games?

    • @Etiennemorinwoodturning

    Is it not possible to do it all in one pour? 🤔 The different layers seen from the side ruins it a bit from my perspective.
    Could also appreciate another kind of music 😉

    • @chewyduck1355
      @chewyduck1355 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Michael Mogensen its about doing thinner pours so you can remove bubbles with the torch. Some resins recommend as little as a 1/8 inch pour for each layer. Other resins will also get too hot from the chemical reaction and crack if poured too thick.
