    I love how this works. But now I wish the devs would just add some more building tools - reference lines, the ability to determine the rotation of pieces with numerical values - that would make all of this glitch stuff obsolete.

    So, after a few Waypoint patches, I got to the step at 5:29 where you're glitching the angled wall followed by an angled floor, and my build was only working for two sides. For the two other sides, I was getting a slightly rotated angled wall, which also messed up the floor placement. Almost looked like I was applying an unintentional tether glitch. It took me a while to figure out what the problem was, but it ended up that doing the diagonal wire slightly rotated the connection on that side. To fix it, I deleted the wires on the two accidentally rotated sides. I then went back to a garage door facing that side, then reverse wire glitched a center floor to the garage door. Then I used walls to reverse wire glitch both of the sides into the center. Once here, pulling down from the point of the pyramid got me a connector that could wire glitch walls and floors at the correct angle. You can avoid this by skipping the diagonal wire at 1:46 entirely, and just redoing the garage door steps rotated 90 degrees instead.

      hey are you still currently building? im struggling with getting the center block in the middle to start the diagonal angles to go not be angled. any tips?

      @@xchronicxx I am unfortunately on a Comcast connection that is down more than it is up this week. Pretty sure this "Gig speed internet" is just a marketing term used to separate fools like me from our money. Since I can't see your build as you do it... my advice is to pay special attention to when Beeblebum deletes a wire connection. It's possible that you're hitting the buttons just slow enough to trigger the tether glitch instead of the wire glitch, but it might also be that you forgot to delete a connection and that wire connector isn't facing the way you want. If you need to check, trigger the wire menu and look at which direction the lighting bolt's point is facing. That'll tell you if it's angled correctly. I've had the same issue you are having before, and it's almost always because I deleted wires in the wrong order or I left one connected that I shouldn't have.

    • @Beeblebum
      @Beeblebum  ปีที่แล้ว

      If you really are having trouble with the twisted parts, then I would advice to only do the angle wire per wire, so the other connections do not mess with it.
      Also, always pull from the top connector to the bottom, to ensure the wire takes the direction of the bottom connector.
      And, if you still have issues, glitch a wall on the foundation wire (the ones at the bottom of your pyramid base) if your wall glitches straight, then you should have a good base, if not, then the foundation wire is probably twisted.
