- This is my personal top 50 NPCs that should be playable. Why so many good NPCs. At first it was 20, but even 50 is not enough.
Sidenote: Deceased characters, Elite Operators who are already playable in Integrated Strategies are not included in this list, and character names that are not yet in the Global version (Arktos, Liang Xun, Trumpet, etc.) may be different when those events are released in the Global version.

We have yet to see his design, but the presence in the story alone makes me wait for the day they will release Logos as a playable operator.
It's really telling when an npc has such a fully fleshed out design and personality that they become fan favorite characters.

This is exactly why Arknights main and side stories rock. NPCs aren't just NPCs. They too have a story that is just as interesting as the Operators
Funny how Irene, Phoenix/Fiametta, and Trumpet/Horn have actually become playable.
A year later, Mlynar, Ines, Morgan, Santalla and Muelsye have joined the gang as well (the last two nearly half a decade after their respective introductions)

I really hope they add big bob, he has a potentially strong lore-supported reason to join RI.
Phoenix I thinkalready confirmed my friend, plus the chances of getting someone like crowny us quite good, as we are got w (who is merc), tabulah may be a different story, as you know, the black snake still resides in her conscious.

Look I'm all about a six star Black Knight op. Her design, no matter where you check makes her look bossy af and I love it. I'm surprised to see Mlynar and Jesselton Jaystation 5 so close to the end of this top 50 mainly because I thought I was the only one who liked them at all. Their design, even if simple, is really effective. Talulah as the 2nd place? More likely than you think lmao, hopefully we get a shot at her during the upcoming Anni.

I honestly think Muleseye has the highest chance of becoming an operator, she's well connected with Rhine Lab and we know she can make clones of herself and was confident enough to take on Anthony (mountain) if silence and mayer weren't there.

Mandrake is like the Dublinn version of Mephisto for me. They're both the innocent looking but actually evil and murderous type, are both obsessed with the older boss lady of their respective organizations, and some of their expressions totally have the same vibe. I hope they get more info revealed about them.
For future story
Suffering/phoenix is highly posible.
i think Leto will be playable, and she will be reaper because in near the end children of ursus trailer, she holding a scythe (and a nail gun or something)

Well, so far we've got Heidi, Horn and Emperor. I really wish Arktos was playable, we need another ursus guy onboard!

I thought Mlynar and Phoenix were confirmed already. Or maybe I'm misremembering things.
At least some designs definitely seem like they're intended to be playable in the future (or alternatively, were a consideration to be playable).
Playable Anita or Dora is for story-line reasons, I assume. The actual physical design would need a lot of revamping for a playable version since they're just in civilian rags.
A few others like Jesselton would be rather hard to swallow for storyline reasons I think (probably too evil). Mephisto I assume would be possible with a memory wipe (which was why he went to the sarcophagus in the first place) and somehow surviving in the hidden cutscene I guess. Not sure what he'd do gameplay-wise though since summoning the horde would be morally out of the question, lol.
I'm kinda confused why Lin isn't playable. The entire Dossoles Holiday eveny pretty much treats her as a playable character. (not just the storyline but even many of the stage descriptions and stage names and other aspects of the event keep referring to her and putting her on par with Ch'en, along with her fighting style being described in detail etc). It almost feels like she was going to be playable but they ran out of space or something.
Now I'm curious about #44 Moshi...

To be honest, I kinda thought that Patriot was on the list since lore wise he was able to go up against 3 Emperor's at once.

I'm still of the mind that I'd love to see dead operators playable. They wouldn't be canonically alive again or anything but it would be fun to use Scout and Ace or FrostNova

She can temporarily redirect enemies' path like a roadblock, because not even the enemy will try to hurt such a sweetheart.
While watching this vid, I remembered when surname of Jesselton was Williams. Not Miller

i perplexed on NPC as an ops bcs they would hesitate to kill them for story purposes then, and i hate when authors pulling their punches like that.
but all in all my absolute top 3 of this is perhaps Yuhxia, BK and Anita. im weak against bosslady in dapper style(BK), and Yuhxia character is already such solid so yea, Anita is unironically THE BEST innocent civilian character design in AK, that eye? that hair and color scheme? it's so Pixar style it's amazing.
other top one would be Mlynar, Misery, Tytus, Heidi and Ines
they could also just open up the possibility of dead ops
@@sekischro5093 they could but so far none of the "dead" ops is an important one in the bigger picture. it's possible but when so far they can only really kill npc it's gonna be even harder

Surprised to see Mephisto even though he's pretty much dead no matter what choice we pick in M8-8. In fact, I'm surprised I don't see FrostNova at all lulz.
I agree with a few of these choices, others... still kinda wondering how'd they fit in.
In the canon outcome which is letting him leave, he's left in a coma. So very likely that he will come back in the future, otherwise they would have just killed him off instead of making the hidden true outcome be him surviving.
@@Ch1l1C0nCarnag3 didn't Kal'tsit say that she can try revert him back to normal but he will die in a few days because his oripathy is too severe or smth like that? Idk, I could be wrong.
@@miraishinigami I don't think she said he'd die in a few days. Just that his life will be much shorter due to the accelerated infection. But since we don't know how long an infected's normal lifespan is this could be anywhere from a few months to a few years.

She and Leto have probably been on the official internal "Going to be playable someday" list since the game existed. It's the same place that a lot of characters like Heavy Rain and Rosa (who was in several promotional arts looooong before being made playable, albeit with a somewhat different design) etc were sitting on for a while. Hell, Kjera and Gnosis were probably on that list since before the game's inception since they're in the promotional Silver Ash trailer that's existed since before the game came out!
@@KirbyFrontier the thing about siege, Indra n Morgan is that they are a matched set. All three came on at the same time. Which is why I have a hard time wondering why in the HR Archives we only have 2 of the three in the same group.
On another note: siege is Artura, Indra is Galahad while Morgan apparently is the Merlin of their group; brilliant but still mess up on occasion. (It's in Indra's lines)
As a fellow dokutah we all agree and we all know the one who we dokutah want her to be playable the most is. But we also know that there won't be any chance to get her we all know why

When i first saw Anita i thought she was a horror game npc, her design looks so creepy

The horror game design is presumably intentional. She's from an event that's based around Cthulu horror myths. (the event is actually kinda a parody/deconstruction though in that it's true moral appears to be that negligent human governing is the real monster and the threat. Even the threat of the sea terrors would be because Iberia's governing negligence could allow them to get a foothold, at least according to Kal'tsit.)

Its a miss opportunity not to release Santalla during break the ice event. She canonically has ice power and such should be able to cast cold and freeze to the enemy. I propose santalla to be 6* phalanx caster that can cast cold and freeze using her skill.
Probably because she's a Sami and all of the operators in Break the Ice are from Kjerag.
But we definitely need Sami event.
@@Gabe-ff7yr yeah, sami is very mysterious since we almost have no information about it. Sami event could also introduce another freeze/cold operator.
I agreed with top 50 NPCs should be playable but #43 Dawn, idk. Cuz follow the lore, Dawn already passed away and Dawn we meet in game now it just Dusk drawing ._.

candle knight is number 1 for me! her design is so damn cool and gorgeous and even looks better than many of the current playable characters. it'd be such a waste if they didn't make her playable.

A lot of these NPCs are ops now.
Out of 50 NPCs here, these are the NPCs with the highest possibility to be playable.

The reason I didn't include the rest are as follow:
- Have no experience in combat (Carol, Anita, Dora,)
- Deceased (Mephisto, Misery)
- Have lost interest in fighting (Shieldguard)
- Have no access to join (Ela/Iana)

Mephisto is actually still alive but in a coma. The canon outcome of that encounter is the secret scene you get for letting him leave. So at any given moment he's somewhere on the landship and could wake up whenever they decide it's the time to bring him back; most likely when he's needed to convince Talulah to join as well since he's the only one left from their original group.
@@Ch1l1C0nCarnag3 I think he'd have lost his memory entirely if he ever wakes up. Which would be a great mercy for him and for anyone who has to deal with him after that, really.
I'd expect Ela and Lana if there's ever a new second Rainbow Six collab, which would presumably come with another story that ends up sucking them into the Arknights world too.
