      Absolutely
boring. The rest episode in the whole series. I am sick and tired of Roger and Buck wandering around the country side for 3 episodes. Jemi could have gotten out of that tunnel a long time ago and Rachana's wedding, repeat of season one

@HowardDavis-u3s 🤭 I was actually really happy to see the part were Roger finally met his dad and yes they could have totally added that part into last week's episode instead of having them meandering about for so long.

Can’t believe the guy who plays Young Ian is anyone’s love interest. Like William better.

Loved how the Outlander producer/director represented the time-space continuum with Roger and Jem walking the same steps geographically in Scotland in different time periods. That was well done!

It was great! I screamed when we finally saw his father. Read MOBY and 7 Stones. It was good that he didn't tell him who he was cause maybe he wouldn't have left and they had no time. ❤

Im impressed that they veered toward's Roger's Family this Season.
    He literally met his Ancestors.
Of all the Outlander Traveler bloodline, Roger's is the most convoluted.

Some of it was great, other parts I almost had to fast forward like the most boring wedding I’ve had to watch. Even the parts with Jamie and Clair were not that great.
I think Roger and Lord John are the best storylines.

Roger didn’t send his father to his own time period. Since no one knows where his mother ended up we don’t know where/when his father is going to end up. 🤦🏻‍♀️
I think one off shoot book might discuss it, but I haven’t read it yet. I can never seem to find a copy of it.

    • @JustMe-pn6xw

His mother died in an air raid. I think he went back to her and died with her which is why nothing changed for Roger. Remember Roger told him to think of his wife. This is why Roger ended up where he was because he was thinking of his father. I won’t spoil how he gets back with Bree and the kids (well unless they change it in the book because I don’t recall him meeting his father in the book).

    • @AMYV3
      @AMYV3 12 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

yes but then we saw the clip of him returning and now with his son in his arms
maybe the mom had already died when this happens or do you think this means that actually his father took him there, maybe his mom was somewhere else that was safe maybe him coming home meant his father was there to take him and it was his father that was killed and when he goes back to Jemma he now has his mother in his life 🤷‍♀️ lol. i guess we will have to wait and see ☺️

It is in one of the side novels Leaf in the Wind of All Hollows. In outlander books mom saves him by dropping him down to someone at a lower level, and we learn in Leaf that the someone she dropped him to was his father. Beautiful! That book is a fast read and it also has Frank Randall in it. It explains so much.

They spent waaaaay to much time on the young Ian Rachel marriage scenes. Almost 25 minutes of the episode on just the wedding and icky bedroom scene. I found it boring and forwarded through it. It was just awkward becuase he is a minor character, they are not sexy characters and they gave them more screen time than Jamie and Claire in this episode. I wish they would have given 15 minutes of that time to the Roger and Bree story line. They could have easily gotten the points of touching heartfelt speeches, quirky Quaker rituals and tender newlywed love of minor characters across on less than 10 minutes.

Oh please . Episode 12 was good , but this one .? Episode 13 ? For me was boring , totally anti charismatic and anti dramatic story telling way . Very detached emotionally and very rushed . One cannot Rush telling stories about characters by cross cutting so many story lines and only giving each a minute or two of screen time.
This episode 13 felt just like episode 9 , which was rushed and all over the map a bit of everything and at the end resolving nothing emotionally or dramatically . Having young Jeremaia finding his way out from the tunnel and reuniting with Bree , his mom , felt good . But again missed the emotional charge .!The entire episode begins in Bree kitchen , when Bree knocks off the villain , but the climax the resolution is without struggle and suspense . The boy just reappears and is found because his sister feels him . Where was she before ? Why now to play a game of hot and cold . Real kindergarten way to tell a story . Lost its suspense .
The entire story line with Roger and Buck traveling through the stones is missing again drama from the start . When they end up in the wrong century . And then there is so much anticipation about the emotional reunion between Roger and his father face to face , even if Roger keeps from his father his true identity . The entire reunion scene turns blah . So why it was needed in a first place ? Did this move Roger’s story line forward or helped finding his own son? Did we learn something about Roger which was connected to his father? And what did Roger learned about himself , when he met his father ? How would one feel about giving an opportunity to meet your parents who was considered killed in action ? Dont get me wrong , the entire Cast of Outlander is great and actors are so talented , but the story telling began to miss something ? May be it is in the editing or the script writing ? The moment the characters story lines take on their own lives , without being connected to the two leads , the story starts to fall apart . The wedding ceremony between Ian and Rachel was very informative . I did not know that Quakers in that time did not have a marriage ceremony like we know it . Very simple , without a priest not a wedding dress , very puritanical But still there was very little emotion or passion . Brings to mind the first married night between Clair and Jamie , when Clair had to overcome her emotional feeling of betrayal and Jamie learned the art of love making .
With Jan and Rachel the two different worlds coming together and it was lost in a scene . The struggle between the tradition and desire of two people in love. Even Jan love for the Indian woman was loaded with suspense and emotion . As for Jamie and Clair appearing at the end with their story lines had when they married . Everything was very nice and very benevolent .
As for Jamie and Claire story line at the end of the episode 13!.
Well no comments . Jamie looked so dashing in a general uniform . Clair , subdued , drained of her usual spark . If this way the story shall proceed , to
Me it is like draining it from blood and energy I do not know what to expect next .
I guess now the only drama and suspense , is waiting what happens to Lord John and William And of course Jamie and Jan staying alive . But the conflict between Clair and Jamie , her marriage to Lord John so soon and their” carnal knowledge “ of each other , has not been resolved yet . Just shuffled under the bad . I only hope that parts 14, 15 and 16 in season 7 shall regain powerful story telling regain its dramatic charge and its energy as it was starting from season 1 . We the viewers were drawn to this incredibly unique miniseries . To the chemistry between the two leads Claire and Jamie Please do not loose it now 🙏🙏🙏
