i like how hot rod has been portrayed as an underdog regreting throwing himself at megatron in the 1986 film, given nearly most people dont like him and it was a bad move on his part tbh, but not only does he regret the decision and trying to move on from it, hes seen optimus kill his friends infront of him, and even though he wears the decepticon badge, he couldnt make another reckless desicion that would kill him again and shoot him...absolutely brilliant im looking forward if theres a continuation :)

Out of all the voice actors that have done Optimus Prime, Jon Bailey is the closet to a perfect match for Peter Cullen. Jon was originally just a youtube voicer specialist before he got his start. His longest gig has been the Narrator for Honest Trailer on TH-cam. #Epicvoiceguy

Emmett Seabolt Hot Rod was already a good character no one can get past optimus prime first death that won’t even remember all the other times he died which Hot Rod wasn’t involved in. But still became blamed for his death. Hot Rod-Rodimus prime was always my favorite Autobot he has the only character arc in G1 series.

COPPA is stupid. It's too vague in its definition of what constitutes 'for kids'. By its definition, Attack on Titan, Evangelion, Tokyo Ghoul, High School of the Dead, all these mature anime - all of them are classified as 'kids' content'. That is some grade-A bullshittery right there. Like, I've seen Attack on Titan. It's a good show. I would definitely recommend it. But if I were in charge of COPPA, marking it as 'for kids' would be the quickest possible way I could fail the you-had-one-bleeping-job test. Heck, they class 'bright colours' and words like 'Yeah!' as content for kids! It's just stupid, that's what it is! And I haven't even mentioned the $42000 fines that can be enacted!

Now if that would have happened, it's an entirely separate debate how the movie wouls have turned out. But regardless, either hot rod jumped in or not, optimus would still probably died.

@@michelletebbutt86 No it didn't. Optimus failed to shoot Megatron despite having plenty of opportunity. The whole reason they were fighting as so Optimus could stop Megatron "no matter the cost." He had a gun pointed at him, but Optimus let Megatron stall for time. If anything Hot Rod gave Optimus an opening to jump in and help wrestle Megatron into submission, two on one would've been easy, and Optimus didn't take it. He didn't even run for cover, he let Megatron shoot him.

I never hated Hot Rod for his failure to help Optimus. So it broke my heart when I found out he was such a hated character in the Transformers community. I saw him as character trying to live up to the greatest Autobot that ever existed. To be a good leader while carrying such a heavy burden on his shoulders. Like how anyone in a similar situation would've.

Also optimus was injured before hot rod intervenes, so even if he didn't optimus would probably still die of energon loss.

I don't think Kup died, it looked to me more like a hologram. If he had really died, he would not have vanished like that, he would have left behind a corpse body. He used it as a diversion to go pick up HotRod, that's why you noticed HotRod was gone.

@@michelletebbutt86 No it didn't. Optimus failed to shoot Megatron despite having plenty of opportunity. The whole reason they were fighting as so Optimus could stop Megatron "no matter the cost." He had a gun pointed at him, but Optimus let Megatron stall for time. If anything Hot Rod gave Optimus an opening to jump in and help wrestle Megatron into submission, two on one would've been easy, and Optimus didn't take it. He didn't even run for cover, he let Megatron shoot him.
It's so sad..... That anybody gets the next role of prime...it's just over for them.. Fans don't care. People... Fandoms are heartless, undertale... Sonic..Anime.. it's humanity.. 😔
