Einfach geil! - Habe mir letztes Jahr ebenfalls ´ne 821er Monster gekauft (Stealth) und mir letzthin den QD Gunshot Exhaust zugelegt (vor allem aufgrund dieses Videos!). - Merci!

Hi Lukas, right unfortunately this exhaust was only released for the newer models I think, but Euro 3 has its own advantages :) and there are some good aftermarket options too.
Yes exactly, the settings were:
- 24fps 4K
- Shutterspeed fixed to 1/48
- ND filter (16 I think it was, could have used a 32 as well, sometimes the video has been a bit blown out)
@@peakperspectives-ch thank you Matt for answer. Yes, you are right, your exhaust is not compatible with my 2014 Monster because of different type of passenger pegs and Euro3 vs euro4. Thank you for revealing gopro settings too. Wish you all the best.
Excellent quality, especially of the sound. Is it correctly understood that the QD is E-marked and homologated?
yes it is, at least for Switzerland. I'd recommend to check their (QD's) homepage and if possible ask a reseller of this specific exhaust.

Great video! One question about the qd exhaust. Is the exhaust just plug and play or do you need to adjust youre bike again on the dyno? What I was also wondering if the slipon is enough or do you need the linkpipe without the original exhaust valve as well?
It's plug and play as it's only the slipon.
If you were to change the linkpipe as well, then you'd need to do some adjustments though.
But I couldn't imagine what else I'd want in terms of sound, so you could easily save yourself the linkpipe (also note that it's illegal in some countries).

@@ChangeYoureMinds you won't regret that :) yes, db-killers are in. another nice alternative exhaust that is street legal and euro4 is the "Twin GP" from SC Project. The sound is great for both of them from what I've seen. so I'd take the one that looks better to you.
@@peakperspectives-ch definitely the qd exhaust for me man haha. I wish the termis where euro4.... for me by far the best looking exhausts for the monster 821 and specially for the stealth version that you've got ass well I think?
@@ChangeYoureMinds yes the termi looks also great, but I have to say I prefer the QDs matte-metallic look on a black bike, as opposed to the termis carbon. gives it a nice contrast. and the QD stickers complement it also quite well with the stealths red accents.

Thanks! I didnt use any specific LUT unfortunately, custom graded it myself

I have a problem with my chin mount, how did you exactly achieved this angle ? It seems like I cant lean it enough..

@@peakperspectives-ch Nope, actually never ever heard of it lol.. angle seems quite fine tho, is it just upside down ? I'll definetely try that and so you just correct it while editing right ?
@@peakperspectives-ch btw, can you advice me anything regarding the export settings ? im a bit confused with premiere pro tbh, having some trouble with outcome results. it seems like quality decreasing...
@@goodridingchannel yeah the thing is with normal upright orientation the helmet is usually limiting the angle, but that depends on your riding position and helmet I guess.
The more recent gopros certainly fix the orientation automatically if you start recording *after* you mounted it upside down. but should be easy enough to fix in post if one of your videos is on its head :)
@@goodridingchannel regarding exports: if you intend to upload to yt just ensure high mbps targets.
4K: 70mbps or more
1080p: 25mbps or more
something like that should provide good results.
what level is you H1n on when recoring sound?
phuu it's been a while. but as far as I remember it was around 3. just give it a rev while holding the zoom roughly in recording position and see if it's within a healthy range :)
your forgot to enable stabilisation on your go pro. Or do you like it this way?
actually preferred it this way, makes you get a better sense of the speed. especially combined with a low shutter speed / high motion blur, which again pairs very badly with stabilization and lots of shakes (leads to a stable but blurry image).
@@peakperspectives-chalright. I think I might prefer it too. I am trying to decide between a go pro hero 4 black or a hero 7 black. The 4 supports 4K 30fps but nog stabilization. Do you have any advise ?
@@beatsmarttie5777 great, 4k 30fps should be enough. I often recorded even with 24fps. In any case you would want to get ND filters to get your shutter speed down on brighter days. Ideally to 1/48th or 1/60th respectively.
oh and that's assuming you're able to headmount the gopro. If you wanted to chest mount or anything else you would want to go for the 7 with stabilization.
the head sort of acts as a weak gimbal stabilizes your gopro naturally to some extent.

Stark! Wie sieht’s da im schönen Österreich mit der streckenweisen 95 DB Grenze aus? Wirds da nicht eng mit der Lautstärke?
Hab nämlich die selbe Maschine und die QD gefällt mir mit Abstand am besten... :) will aber gerne in Ruhe fahren können ohne ständig Angst haben zu müssen, kontrolliert zu werden.
@@kilianhuber3658 habs nie gemessen, aber bei hoher Geschwindigkeit und starker Beschleunigung wird der schon ganz laut, auch mit DB..
Merkst du was von einem entwaigen Leistungsverlust ggü. der Originalabgasanlage? Vor allem im mittleren Drehzahlband?

DB killer was always in. never took it out in the first place as it sounded great.

Yes :) Also check out my other video for the exhaust to see the difference to the original one. The riding audio is better in this one though.
