Score tally was the point total across all songs. This score contributed to who won. If he had landed this segment better, he could have beat Chris across all 3. It's not best 2 of 3

Chris4Life won Egoism 440 by a nice margin, surpassing even the advantage FEFEMZ had with the other two songs. I believe it is half strategy and half unfairness. The second part was solved with the new score system, while strategies will be present as long as there will be player picks instead of random songs.
Also, I think if fungah would have been able to pick a song, he might have had a good chance at 2nd place. I'm also curious as to why fungah chose shuffle for dead end groove radar special.

Is there an option to set the combo display behind the arrows, or is it just a reverse exclusive "get fucked for playing reverse" kind of thing?
You need to buy an E-Amusement pass and link it with your Konami ID to enable/disable that. You can also turn on the guidelines as well. But if you want the SLOW/FAST feature you need PASELI subscription.
All the horizontal crossovers like LDR LUR will turns into vertical thus easier to step. Especially for troll chart like Dead End GRS it is quite well known that the mod will not introduce any more challenge but actually make it easier (look at the second verse the player with right mod has way less horizontal crosses)
I have a question about torments and stuff, why are rotation options allowed? I feel like when players use right, left or shuffle, it makes certain songs a bit easier, it gets rid of complex patterns, but it does make new ones, it would be nice for the difficulty to be consistent. I think the only one that I think it ok is mirror.
Dr. D Gaming yeah hidden plus is for the bottom for reverse and sudden plus for the top for reverse players, then again i doubt too many people will tell the difference unless they use it ingame.

I think the reason players use this option is so they know exactly when to hit he note, as in once the tip of the arrow hits the grey part thats when they step on the arrow to get a marvelous. I dont know if this is right but maybe thats why people use it
No offense to anyone but you're wrong. Pump is way better and also much harder, especially in Rank Mode using VJ judgement. Just came back from USPF 2018 and Chris Chike tried out for the qualifiers....he got a B on an S18 and got cut. I love Chris and enjoy his videos but the difficulty of Pump charts is a paradigm shift above DDR charts. Top Pump players also look like they're dancing....not just spasming. Both games are great.

mrlionX yep but wasnt "good" enough (not enough song choices, bad songs, too short, bad stepchart, couldnt see the arrows clearly, etc...) so ITG came and made the difference :p
I don't know what ITG has done but we're talking about the origin on how Americans are better at DDR than Japanese. Its because we were always one step (no pun intended lol) ahead of them.
