- Huge shout out to KAZE.573 and iamchris4life. I told them when I got to Japan I wanted someone to clear Boss Rush SN2. There have been many disputes about whether this was cleared or not in the past but regardless there has never been a video of a clear which is why I sought after this so much. Even though Kaze ended up getting it, Chris was more than capable of doing it as well, just hades Challenge on SN2 didn't agree with his play style. Awesome work. Now enjoy my giddy little boyish reaction as he clears something I've been waiting to see for almost 9 years.

I love how authoritatively Hudson slammed those last to steps in Pluto relinquish.
Whoever created the step chart for hades and NGO must have been laughing their asses off.
Even those considered the best players in the world can’t combo those gnarly 16th note jumps.
The "recovery" on this course is pretty brutal.

I honestly can't say I've heard that voice clip before.
If you're half decent and have access to a Supernova 2 machine, do the SOTA Challenge mode course. Full combo it and you'll hit around 1400 combo without nearly as much trouble as BOSS RUSH.
Just do Classical - End of the Century, V, Kakumei and No. 13 can get you there
It's also pretty easy to hear it if you have the console version of SN1 or SN2.

I'm pretty sure the 573 in KAZE.573 stands for Konami. Look for 573 in places you won't expect in Konami games (like DDR ^_^), it shows up more often than you'd think
Example: the maximum combo count in a lot of MAX songs (they even put meaningless steps at the end to make it total 573)
He actually did all the crossovers in PRO instead of BSing them the absolute madman!
you should watch the end run of pluto relinquish on .25 or .5 speed, it is super exciting.

I honestly think someone should have a high speed camera and do a frame by frame of that. It's some VERY impressive footwork!

Anyone notice how Chris' early-failed score on Paranoia Hades is still higher than not just Kaze's final score, but also Fefemz' as well (just on the first stage, obviously)? Not diminishing their incredible accomplishments at any capacity at all, just further pointing out what a timing beast Chris is.. and this is like half a decade ago lol

I'm glad they fixed it in the later versions of DDR where they still announce the combos even if the announcer is saying something else so you can actually hear it

It's basically a "read super slow" course. Aside for pluto relinquish of course, which basically have a no sense bpm. It doesn't surprise me that it hasn't been cleared for so long.

I think lives are given out at the beginning of 2nd, 4th, 6th stage (so every even numbered stage). That's how he got one before NGO and one before Pluto
It actually depends on the course. The # of lives given back after each song is 0, 1, or 2, and it's set.

Why is Paranoia HADES the first song in this course? It's the hardest one in this course by far.

PR was always seen as harder and I still agree. I guess having Hades first can get you warmed up though.
imo hades is harder overall but the ending to relinquish is harder, making it harder to clear when youre forced onto 4 lives.
