They will come up with excuses to come talk to you. The very shy ones will only take a chance to ask you out on a sm site like "FB friends request" or something similar followed by popping the question. I've known the scale of guys over the years and saw how they operated. Sometimes girls ask guys out but remember it's the hunks who are constantly surrounded by girls and their sending him pics etc and they will use and discard the ones they don't like so your choosing the boys lower on the scale almost guarantee he will really appreciate you and try harder to make a relationship work. I have literally missed the most obvious sign that a woman I was attracted to felt the same way. I worked with her in a restaurant, I was a chef and she was a floor manager. One night after a shift, she asked me to come to her house for a drink, touching my arm as she asked. I couldn't make it so she handed me her phone number. She would ask me out for drinks and I had to be on shift. By the time I mustered the courage to ask her out, she must of felt rejected and moved on. It was disappointing but it taught me how to read obvious signs. It just wasn't meant to be.

#1 takeaway here is show interest and be authentic... which I think is where we tend to go wrong in most aspects of our lives. It is easy to have a lack of honesty, in the sense that we think more about delivery, optics, politics, how something will be recieved - instead of just being transparent in all the small ways right from the beginning. Lol Story time: Today we find that blessed hippopotamus searching around outside with a green flashlight just after sunset. His friend Pufferfish is helping him, and carrying a couple empty boxes. Frog was just finishing up painting his house navy blue, and asked them what they were looking for. Hippopotamus says "I was about to go to the store for apples, bananas, jelly beans, hot chocolate, and burrito makings. As soon as I turned the doorknob my puppies knocked a guitar over. That knocked a lamp, a 200k page dictionary, and a couple glasses off the table. One of them got out as I was trying to catch the guitar. Frog says "oh he came over here about 5 minutes ago, and I put him in my yard because nobody was at your house." Hippopotamus did a happy dance and sang "la la la." He got the puppy home and decided to play Star Wars, totally forgetting about the apples and bananas.

Here's what I don't like about this advice. This advice completely destroys the organic side of things that some men like myself prefer. I'm a demisexual and it is not in my best interest to immediately start flirting with a girl I may find attractive because I'm looking for a mutual connection and I don't want to act like I'm into her without actually being into her, which cannot happen without my getting to know her first (just a little bit of her personality and her wits/charm etc). Which women feel is not important initially. Instead they expect you to flirt with them right off the bat. Which makes no sense to me. My method is far more genuine but it's very difficult because most women are not good at initial conversations. So you're then expected to drive the conversation (and this is immediate) through this sort of flirtation rather than any real genuine interest. Any interest you show them (that isn't heavily based on flirting) will normally get misinterpreted by most women as you not wanting a relationship but more of a FWB. Some women are better in understanding these issues but they're very rare and difficult to find. Women think you're not interested in them if you don't immediately begin flirting with them pretty much from the get go. And I'm not saying I can't flirt, I can flirt but it's generally not about their physical appearance and more about their personality. Not that I can't compliment on their looks but I just don't see the point of it immediately when that's a given since I'm approaching them. This puts me at a great disadvantage because most women want you to be more straightforward about what you think about them physically so then their ego can be blown up instead of having a real conversation that's not superficial (but still shows that you like one another so not just small talk but actual genuine interest, this scares most women). So I can't follow this advice because my method lets me filter out women who cannot handle a more progressive and organic approach (that's usually only possible if you end up meeting again at some point or at least let me have your number without flirting too much but where you both had a spark of genuine interest in one another's personality).
