Icejade Curse-lock can be used, though it rarely comes up because you will often just mill your Icejade spells to the GY. !) The only handtrap I use in my Tearjades deck is Maxx C, because Tearlaments has so much gas to play going second against a lot of decks. Though, feel free to play Ash Blossom if you want :O
So it's a better going second deck, you'd say? I hate starting first, but if I give the enemy first, they set up a huge board, and then there's only so much you can do, even with 6 starting cards. Which is why I run super poly in this deck, but my spell cards always get milled at the worst times :)
@@cephon6198 No, it's not better going-second. It just has enough gas to win without handtraps some of the time. If you're adding board breakers like Evenly or Super Poly, then it would be best to lower other spells like Cradle and the Icejade field spell because these cards also don't do anything when they are milled.
6:25 Brain-dead, uh I mean, Branded does indeed have an out for everything. Thank you for this video, I made an Icejade/Tear deck a few days ago but didn't quite get it to work the way I wanted. Now I feel motivated to give it a go again :) Currently working on an Icejade/Sharks deck. Don't really know where to go with it yet, but there is a lot of potential going into either xyz as well as synchros depending on the game state.
Tearjades is probably best because it has a better match up against meta decks like Lab and Snake-Eyes. These decks use card destruction, so they are more likely to trigger our effects. Disadvantage is that it's weaker to the anti-GY effects out there like Shifter and Kashtira Ariseheart
looks spicy! btw what do you think about the inclusion of revolution synchron(once its released) with afd to transition better between thoose archetypes and get an easy nib protection.
Hi brother, great video! I would like you to make a new video about your old version of Superancient Deepsea King Coelacanth, Synchro version. I created this deck because of you a long time ago, but it ended up sitting in my account. I know there's a new version with the Ghotti but honestly I don't like mixing the two decks. Making an updated video could be interesting. Thanks.
Which old version do you mean? I have a lot and they all use synchro summoning :) The reason Ghoti is used with Coelacanth is because it helps you to summon Coelacanth, there's no a good reason not to play them. They can also still do the same end boards as you used to do before.

Been wanting ti build a deck like this for a while, since it felt like Shark XYZ was the only other decent way to run Icejades. If possible, are there higher rarity cards that could get cut temporarily, in the case that I cant really afford to craft/pull them? Fun as the deck looks, that is a lot of UR points, and I only really have the Icejade UR/SR cards.
@@deepseadarew6012 Cool, I'm glad I wasn't wrong in my assumptions about what could be cut. Thank you for the quick responses both times, been trying to get Ghoti and Icejades both to work for a while, and the meta in MD is pretty rough since against SHS or Snake-Eyes it's basically "Droll or Lose" most of the time.
Damn, I want the rest of the Icejade cards in Royal rare... I have two Kosmochlor in royal rare already, but a little diversity would be nice Also, I thought it was impossible to get royal finish on normal and rare card rarities?

This is such a well-made video with good commentary glad TH-cam recommended this.
Awesome guide, also, Tiaraments strongest!
Thanks for this! Always waited for your contents! 😁

Really nice showcase !
This is so cool I gotta copy this decklist. Would you say this is better than Icejade sharks/pure icejade currently?

God I love this profile so much! Do you already have the list on your channel? I wanna put Tidal to good use but I don't know how
What do you mean? A decklist? I keep my decklists in the descriptions of my videos.

I haven't experimented with that, but it seems like a good strategy.

It was when I played it, and might still be so

Wait how do you have a N and R cards?
