Excellent! Excellent! Excellent video! The only thing that I would change on your video is that the 1 inch hole that you have to drill into? The frame is too small. This could be because the manufacturer beefed up the mounting plates that the bolts go through. I had to elongate my holes slightly just to slip them through. Still an excellent video, the complemented the manufacturers instructions.
Not that we're aware of. The hitch is a vehicle specific item that's only meant for the vehicle it was designed for. Can the vehicle or the hitch be modified so they work together? Maybe, but it's not something we or the hitch manufacturer would recommend doing. For a 2020 Corolla, we recommend using the # C34UR hitch. www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Hitch/CURT/C34UR.html
Hello there, this hitch has a max tongue weight limit of 200lbs and and gross trailer weight of 2,000lbs. So as long as you follow the suggested limits in your owner's manual and the the capacities of the hitch you could tow anything in that range. www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Hitch/CURT/C34UR.html You can see more information on this hitch receiver on the product page we have linked for you.

This hitch is capable of towing up to 2,000 lbs gross trailer weight, that is the trailer plus the load on it. It is also designed to handle 200 lbs max tongue weight. You will want to be sure to check in the owners manual to be sure that your vehicle can tow the weight that you are wanting to. www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Hitch/CURT/C34UR.html www.etrailer.com/vehicle/2020/Toyota/Corolla
Yes, absolutely. A typical small trailer that a motorcycle would load up on ways around 400-500 lbs. Your motorcycle probably weighs around 800 lb, but check it. Technically you shouldn't load up more than a 1,000 lb bike on a 500 lb trailer and pull it with a Corolla, but you probably be just fine if it's a little heavier as long as you have good brakes and tires
@@evanparness9509 Yes. Jet skis weigh approximately the same as motorcycles so the math would still follow. 300-900 lb jet ski + 400-500 lb trailer would be well under the 2,000 lb Max

Do you want the dealer "cya" answer or real life stuff? Officially, Toyota says you should not tow with your Corolla, so if you decide to tow, you are on your own. As far as this trailer hitch is concerned, it can handle a 14ft aluminum boat with no problem, even if you throw in the weight of a motor and trailer. I've towed bigger things than a 14ft job boat with a Class I hitch before.
@@MrMichaelcloutier We honestly couldn't say. That would be a question for Toyota, but because they say not to use the vehicle for towing, they wouldn't provide an answer.
I understand but how do you want me to buy a Hitch if you have not carried out any study that can confirm that the installation and use of your Hitch does not harm my entire car....
I can't believe you spent the first 3 minutes of this video trash talking. Over 60% of the people who tow, tow less than 2000 lb. Your entire tirade is just completely out of touch with reality. How about next time you just stick to the facts and show us how to put the damn hitch on instead of pontificating your opinions, huh?
