In the mid-1960s, my ship patrolled much of the Trust Territories of the Pacific. That said, after visiting Koror, Palau during the July 4th weekend of 1964 I can honestly say, Koror became my favorite destination in the islands. It's a beautiful island.

Never did make it. Hopefully this time around.

Palau is almost beside the Philippines... Palau owns by the country of the United States of America. Their money and currency is US Dollars. It is just a simple Island looking like Philippines... I'd rather choose to visit a southeast Asian country, listed very affordable and cheapest to live in Southeast Asia Vietnam... list of 5 the Philippines, next number 7 Thailand... Palau has its limited resources, products.. go in a big island cities... It's nice Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand. Us Dollar is expensive.
