In the mid-1960s, my ship patrolled much of the Trust Territories of the Pacific. That said, after visiting Koror, Palau during the July 4th weekend of 1964 I can honestly say, Koror became my favorite destination in the islands. It's a beautiful island.

In the mid-1960s, my ship patrolled much of the Trust Territories of the Pacific. That said, after visiting Koror, Palau during the July 4th weekend of 1964 I can honestly say, Koror became my favorite destination in the islands. It's a beautiful island.

Thank you for the video. I live in South Africa but have been fascinated by the Islands of the Pacific for many years. It all started with my shortwave radio hobby when i picked up Solomon Islands in the 1980s. Just a week ago i heard Voice of Palau and that made me search for some cool videos of the Islands. Never did make it. Hopefully this time around.
Anyways, digging your island videos especially because I probably won't make it there for some time. I know how expensive it can be to island hop in that region. So it's awesome seeing videos of these places.
