This is TOO true. I had a coworker last month ask for my number then found out he was married and wife worked at the hospital too!!!! Saved myself soooooo much drama.
same thing happened to me except he asked me on a date meanwhile he’s married and his wife works here too. I would’ve said no regardless but that’s so disrespectful and messy for no reason.
That whole type of situation is a no for me, dawg! I've always believed in the old adage, " Don't get your meat where you get your bread!" Never, ever date, or get involved with a co-worker. I have a friend who did that in two different instances, and she regretted both of them in the end. Nothing's worth coming between you and your money!
I know dudes on my unit who break this rule and don’t care. They just wanna get it however they can. It can be hard at times, but I keep reminding myself that it’s not worth it and that it’s better for me to deal with women outside the job that way if anything happens, it doesn’t affect my money.
Do whatever you want to do, just know that people will talk about you. A lady nurse ended up getting a bad reputation for sleeping with too many male doctors and male nurses and the gossip was specific enough that people were talking about her preferences in the bedroom. She ended up leaving. A BM nurse who hasn’t even been at my job for a year now is getting talked about, people are saying he’s a cheater and that he tries to get with other coworkers and that he gets too friendly and flirty. Discipline and professionalism are crucial.
BRUH this video came at the PERFECT time. When I got into this career a year and a half ago, never once thought I would have to be the one turning women down. Women have been more aggressive with me on the job in terms of flirting, than I have ever experienced anywhere else in my life. Luckily, I was advised by older wiser men to never entertain it & to just get my paper and go home.
@ man what?! Long story short by the very next day the whole building knows. It too much to even type it just begins a slow domino fall effect. The last phase is when your stressed at work everyday or HR telling you that your causing too much drama and have to go
This can go for female nurses, too! And correctional facilities. There was a former CO who had a good paying job (and kids to take care of) who got caught up with an inmate. She told her story in detail on Everyday PJ'S channel. It was revealed toward the end that she had mental disorders that really should have prohibited her from having the job in the first place. Ladies, don't you fumble the bag, either! No amount of eggplant or sweet talk is worth it!
She didn’t have a mental disorder she had no self control or ethical morality. People need to quit blaming mental health when they do something stupid. If your mental health is that unchecked then you should be locked away from the public.
@jaymorgan. I agree that self-control is important. But it's not true in this case that she didn't have diagnosed mental health issues. These things are real! My mother worked in mental health as a psychological nurse for about thirty years. I'm not saying it's an excuse. But she did say she had a couple of different disorders ,and that she told her employer during the interview process. I can't remember her exact ones. If you know someone has something such as borderline personality disorder, or OCD, they shouldn't be hired as a correctional officer!!
I’m a female nurse and I’ve dated two men at two different facilities I’ve worked at (never slept with either)The first time I vowed to never do it again. Did it the second time because I thought it would be different because this person seemed to align with me more in terms of personality. Now I’m serious as a judge that I’ll never do it again. None of my coworkers knew about either circumstances but still..it’s just weird

I don't think that Ace Metaphor is a panderer because what he says makes sense. I don't like the red pill logic that says men who tell women the straight facts about male behavior and what to avoid as pandering or a simp. They're exposing the Bro Code and helping women protect themselves! He gives solid advice. However, it probably helped those ladies lower their guard when they shouldn't have. At the end of the day it's up to us women to gatekeep our bodies and wombs from any man who doesn't mean us well. I know this is alleged, but if it's true, I'm very disappointed in him.
