I didn't watch because I knew the Steelers were going to lose. I've been a fan for 48 years. The Steelers just don't have a Super Bowl team. Super Bowl teams don't regress like this. They're never consistent anymore. I have zero faith in them going anywhere in the playoffs. I absolutely hate the Chiefs.
I’ve watched ‘em for 54 years. There’s only one truly great team: ‘74 - ‘79. You know when you’ve got an all-time great team. Current team is ok, will never be great. Only Heyward, Boswell, and Pickens are true greats. And Pickens might mess up because he’s pretty volatile. This is the Ravens’ year, btw. Lamar just has to maintain his level in the playoffs.
And with all of that being said if a team has talent but still loses on a regular basis when are you going to start putting some responsibility on the coaching staff
Mike fault when players don't do basic things, Mike don't tackle,don't fumble, don't throw pics, but I agree Mike allowed this Team to relax after they new they was in the playoffs. Never seen a Team play the same way no matter who they play( 2win Teams or 12win Teams). They make same mistakes, do that against bad teams and give away games, do that with good Teams and get embarrass. So it don't matter who they play or where they play.
Russ made mistake after mistake. Steelers couldn't run the ball. Steelers can't stop the run, either. They depend on the long ball and Russ running. Steelers had a bad matchup today on paper and it translated to the field.
He has been talking about responding since the Eagles loss. The clichés are simply not enough. We need leadership and a quarterback that has some dog in him to take over a game when needed. Our defense has been horrible for the last few games. But the offense isn't helping them by putting up a paltry 10 points in a game. It's pathetic to hear Russell's sophomoric press conference.
He can’t with that terrible O-Line and receivers not getting open and then to top it off GP quitting on plays again!? He’s not Superman. Also defense has allowed over 90 points in three games.. Can’t just blame him. 🤷🏼♀️
@OoFilthyoO92 There is a reason the quarterback position is regarded as the most important and the highest paid. He does shoulder alot of the blame because it's his responsibility to move the chains. Admittedly, the defense has been horrific but they've also won some games for us. There comes a time when the offense has to support the defense by putting up points and our Russell led offense is struggling to do that. He is a major part of a formula that doesn't work. It's not personal--its evidence based.
@ yeah I just think they move off Warren when he’s cooking and put in naj who gets shut down. Pickens is the only real threat within the WR room. They failed to address it. Austin is amazing but they utilize him wrong and it shows.. I agree they’ve left the defense out there too long but receivers are wide open which means our secondary is cooked. Russ making those mistakes looks like he’s trying to force things cuz no one else is making plays.. My couch sitting option 🤣
Its sad that pro players cant make basic plays, tackling, communication( anybody tire of seeing blown coverage in last 3 weeks). We just snake bitten when it come to getting turnovers. 6 how u not catch that ball. Game changing opportunities.
