The sola has a 12amp hr battery so says the website, I like the torque sensor and the green color also the juiced rip current s has a cadence & torque sensor peddle assistance duel Sensor technology , looking forward to the review of the juiced bike

I'm awaiting feedback from Heybike bc the Sola I received is a 48v 15ah (or at least it's labeled that way)...but good call out since the site does in fact say the Sola come w a 48v 12ah...you're also correct about the Juiced Bikes Rip Current S having a cadence & torque sensor...I've been riding it and it's sweet!!! Thanks for the comment & for mentioning the correct battery size of the Sola!

Did HeyBike say whether the ability to use Throttle in PAS was going to be a future firmware upgrade or a physical bike upgrade? I'd assumed from what you said here that a bike I bought new now (4 days ago) would include the ability to use both together, but that seems to not be the case on the bike I received.

Hello and thank you for the question. I did not speak directly with HeyBike but their documentation states the older models don't have the ability to use both at the same time. Maybe they sent you an older model? I'd hit up their support team to ask them.

where cn you buy better brake pads? how do you know what to buy?

I'd recommend buying brake pads from amazon or a local shop. A set of tektro brake pads should be a major upgrade. Here is a set amzn.to/45WdiTs...another option is to replace your calipers for some hydraulic calipers so you'd swap our your existing caliper for a new one that's better..Here is a good affordable option amzn.to/3qVzBtG

Was using the throttle in pedal assist making a difference as you moved thru the levels?

The Sola we have doesn't allow the use of PAS and Throttle....you need to have PAS level 0 in order to use the throttle so I can't answer your question
