- So you want to win and get better at Mario Strikers Battle League?? Well with these 7 Tips I can guarantee that you will see better results come this weekend, or I'll give you your money back... Wait scratch that out! I do hope though that you can find some of this advice helpful and allows you to enjoy the game that much more!

some tips not covered in the video:
1. In addition to getting the hyper orb, having no plans to use a hyper strike is a viable strat. If you take it, they can't use it and will have to wait for another orb.
2. Learn to block shots. Tackling in front of a shot to block it is viable. Players better than me know how to do this really well.
3. PRESS the goalkeeper. when he blocks a shot and you are able to shoot it on rebound, KEEP DOING IT, mash that A button. it will go in if the other team relies on him too much.
4. The Hyper strike is kinda wild. If you mess it up and the goalkeeper is able to block it, you can move up when he is trying to repel the ball. this is an EZ rebound goal. On defense, get up there and try to clear the ball as fast as you can
5. You can throw powerups at anytime, and I mean ANY time. throw random shit when you are about to shoot to cover yourself from tackles. On defense if someone is doing this alot, give them space and try to go around them so they don't hit you
YOU'RE A G.O.A.T the Ai in this game is fucking insane and annoying. Especially Galactic mode.

Did anyone else think Toad's head was the soccer ball for a hot minute?
You can get hit while doing a hyper strike if you are using a star. Once you start to shoot they can tackle
My best advice is to stay offline, unless you want to be humbled in a hurry. Lol

@@dusseboys Same. LOL I can cruise through the normal Cup Battles but can’t win a damn game on hard. It’s insane.

I didn't even know visual assist existed. So thats a W for me. I think this video was very helpful as someone who struggles to understand how to play in certain situations as the game is very fast paced. Great video Ace!

With the custom passing with LB you can throw passes off the wall and even lob yourself a shot. Its alittle advanced but easy to do when you get the hang of it.
Yes when you get more into the through passes and lob passes there is a lot of possibilities! I wanted to keep it more beginner tips and tricks for this video.
Maybe I could work on a video detailing advanced techniques in the future…

@@AceMonkey you don't have to use the wall, you can use anything that blocks a shot or pass,
the peel sends the ball high for some reason, with practice you can shoot off that
these tips are great, but as a solo player trying to beat galactic mode, i’m still struggling. my teammates don’t create space and the enemy AI are on them like flies. i constantly struggle to find an opening for a pass or a clear shot, so i have to do every pass and every shot perfectly or i’ll lose the ball. perfect passes can get better with practice, but i have no clue how to spread my team out and get them open
(and not that it matters or anything, but i can consistently win the first two matches. i lose both of my lives in the semifinals rounds, and then if i pay the 100 coins i lose again. it’s sooo frustrating to get so close every time but to always fail at the last possible second)
the team i run is yoshi captain, peach and wario on the sides, and donkey kong in the back. i know it’s not the best, but it feels nice to play and i’ve been using this team for a little while and the synergy between them feels nice to me

how to get the game to automatically change player when without the ball mario super striker?
You basically have to play like the golden state warriors if you want strategic success.
If you want results you need a strategy Dwayne Wade!
Or the 90’s Chicago Bulls or 2000s LA Lakers utilizing the Triangle offense.

As someone who’s beaten the galactic cups multiple times, I can easily say that automatic is far far better than manual. In manual, you rely a lot more heavily on your AI and if you don’t know by now, your teammate’s AI is absolutely stupid and refuse to use items, retrieve items, tackle and defend. They also don’t shoot unless you tell them to. They’ll just run around with the ball until they get tackled, and inevitably let the other team score. NEVER go into manual mode

opinions on the game so far?
I really enjoyed the First Strike this weekend! The movement and controls of the characters allow you to be very creative with the way you play. The items create a good amount of chaos, but nothing to crazy. I’m really looking forward to play 1v1 this weekend.
The only set back is that when playing online you do want to match with a person that has a good online connection, since it can get very choppy if you play with someone very far away or with poor internet. But besides having a bad connection once or twice, all my games were very smooth!
I feel that’s all I can say with what the First Strike provided, maybe I’ll put out a full review once the game is completely out. Im really looking forward to playing it this weekend! Are you planning on picking it up as well?

anyway the items for me allow alot of creativity and strategys to use like with the mushroom after an opponent goal u can use it and dash trough the defence line and score. (I had fun during the first kick and I wanted to tell you how I felt cuz it's my first time playing it anyway have a great Day.)
how the fck do you counter lob passing? it feels like the most broken thing in the game

A or B, however, there's a counter to this counter. Which is pulling off a perfect lob pass, but this can also be countered by a tackle to the receiving character

Hyper strikes should be disabled in online, especially ranked.. Waaay to many players win just be relying on cheese..

The truth is this game sucks when you play it alone vs the cpu. I can't believe it is harder than FIFA to aim for the goal, it is zero intuitive at the moment of switching between characters, the keeper is trash for your team but for the other team is freaking good. The same shot would be goal for the CPU but not for you, dodging rarely works against the CPU, it's like you telling it to tackle you when you use the right stick. Finally, the CPU will shoot the hyperstrike regardless of what you do most of the time, but it can cancel yours even when you already have both gauges in blue. I have never canceled a hyperstrike when the CPU has both gauges set. I play the game because I bought it and I have no choice.

The Olympics Games do have more mini games, but I can’t throw a red shell at an opponent and kick a green tornado straight into the goal in the Olympics games

Some people don't want a bunch of half finished mini games, some people want a polished out soccer experience arena. This could be better but it's what we got for now
