I'm just getting into stouts I can't stand any beer but the guinness draught has enough flavor that I can deal with the bitterness, so what's a good stout like guinness draught
It's probably the toasty and roasted notes that helps your cope with it. I would add that Nitrogen makes the beer super silky smooth and blending this with a touch of coffee bitterness makes it smooth and enjoyable. Guiness as always been a classic Stout!
Missing England, and Scotland, the pubs with Taddy Porter, Samuel Smiths Imperial Stout...Living in Texas,USA, I have just now discovered KBS American Dark Beer, that is actually Stout ! 12% abv......So glad Americans are brewing Stout beers now, and finally getting away from cheap yellow coloured watered down beers with cheap alchohol in them....
I would make a case for the argument that ONLY DARK ALES HIT LIKE DARK ALES... and I'm referring to the effects of dark ales vs other styles of beer here. And let me tell you... no other substance, no other style of beer, hits quite like a dark ale. The rich complex flavours are one thing.. the effects are another. Both are utterly unique.
Nothing in the world beats a good stout.

I remember being young and thinking how gross dark beer is, now at a ripe age of 35 I’m huge on dark beer. Age really does refine us.

My favourite stout is Lohengrin by Van Moll. It's a Peche Melba Stout. It has peach, lactose, vanille, and raspberries!
