I want to thank you, so much, for your video. My husband was able to remove my radio by watching your video. He said, without seeing this video, he would have stopped trying to get the console apart. Mine was super stubborn and it really seemed like we were going to demolish the plastic, but it came apart, just like you showed, albiet a LOT more stubborn, and went back perfectly without any dents or scratches. I am so happy to have my screen fixed.

This happened to my CERTIFIED USED 2018 Grand Cherokee. Jeep refused to cover it saying it was covered. There should be a class action lawsuit against Jeep. Really gives me a sour taste that they know of a major defect and do nothing. My advice, when you first see the bubbles, FIX IT THEN. Great service. I need this. Is it the same process for the 2019 Grand Cherokee altitude? and do you repair those as well? and when you say let it go back to sleep, you are plugging it in and turning the car on letting it power on until when? and then just shutting the car off so the auxiliary power is still on until the screen powers on? I do not really understand the steps involved so that the system proeprly acclimates back to the vehicle.
Thanks. Call our repair department at 855-636-6287 to get service. Yes we use the same process to repair screens for the Altitude. Sleeping is the process of letting the vehicle's CAN BUS reset.
