    Love this video..I also love to sew my ephemera on heavier paper or card stock. I laughed when you were talking about sewing and all the time their was no thread at all...I have done that when sewing clothes ...lol Im really enjoying your videos

    • @stitchwithrachel
      @stitchwithrachel  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I do it all the time.. not so bad on fabric but with cardstock its already made the holes and can be hard to try and restitch or cover it. Thank you for joining in the giveaway.. best of luck xx

      Hi Gracie, I just any sewing thread that I have laying around and just stick it on my machine. I know that doesn't give you a specific answer but I hope it helps. Anything goes in junk journals!

    My friend, could you help me understand why JJs always have aged tones and the items inserted in it are called ephemera?

    • @stitchwithrachel
      @stitchwithrachel  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, youtube held you comment for review. I think the majority of JJ's have a vintage theme so this is why they have aged items in them. However there is lots of other styles of journals which you could make without the aged items
