Hello, unfortunately there is no update that can be done for old versions! Just looking for a reliable POD Control from 2010+ It got the latest version of firmware and better components inside!
If you have disassembled POD Control too many times and kept moving the wires from the display, there is a risk that it has broken off the board! First check the wires if they are broken or if they have continuity, check with a multimeter! I've had a thread break in half and it's not noticeable. It's just that my POD Control doesn't turn on at all!
Do you have any idea of the cable type they used to connect the pod to the subwoofer ? My #!& cat ate it and I must replace the cable (still working but noise when moving the cable) . From what I understood, it not enough to take a VGA cable (15 cores, not 14) cut one end and solder it inside the pod. I've found (multiple) schematics of the connector mapping, but I can't find anywhere the type of cable to use (from what I can see in the hole of my cable, some part are shielded ?). For the record, my system is approaching it 20th anniversary and still kicking hard after thousands of hours of usage (I did not even had the infamous led problem)...when cat does not eat the cable...
What's wrong with you, let the cat eat the cable (It's really funny)! Yes, you're right, it's not an ordinary cable like the one you use for the monitor! The wires for the output from the bridge to the amplifier are once again shielded from the other wires to prevent different noises that may appear in the speakers! I don't know such a cable that can be bought commercially! I think logitech specially created this cable for their systems! From what I have seen of different people who replaced the cable with a VGA plug, they used exactly that cable for the monitor, only as a better quality one! I don't know if they experienced noises (interference) after replacing the original cable! You have the order of the threads here if it helps! It is compatible for PID R020+ R849+ To be sure of the connection, you can also measure your wires with a multimeter! And if there is something wrong in my scheme, leave a comment here with the wires measured by you! As far as I know, it's at PID R800 - (down) differ one or two pins in placement! Pin in POD Control! Unfortunately logitech did not share the necessary files and devices to update the Firmware. You can just look for a POD Control that has the latest version of Firmware.
Witamy, oprócz nowszej wersji oprogramowania, w POD Control zaszły inne zmiany! Nowy wyświetlacz z lepszym widokiem i jaśniejszym kontrastem! Więc nie była to dla mnie taka duża inwestycja, warto było przejść na nową wersję!

i checked everything is fine and it's still a white screen
if not to the woofer
there is a risk of damaging a component either in the subwoofer or in the POD Control when you connected the wrong wires the first time!
Try to power the POD Control exactly like in the video I made and see if it still works!

Is it possible to update my pod to the newest Firmware?
Hello, unfortunately there is no update that can be done for old versions!
Just looking for a reliable POD Control from 2010+
It got the latest version of firmware and better components inside!
I connected as you said and only a white screen appeared on the control
It is compatible for PID R020+ R849+
To be sure of the connection, you can also measure your wires with a multimeter!
And if there is something wrong in my scheme, leave a comment here with the wires measured by you!
As far as I know, it's at PID R800 - (down)
differ one or two pins in placement!

Firmware 4.01 or 4.02 : Where can I get it?
Unfortunately logitech did not share the necessary files and devices to update the Firmware.
You can just look for a POD Control that has the latest version of Firmware.
@@ElektroGamer30From which PID are we sure to have firmware 4.01?
@@brunojuton4969 I'm not sure but I think from PID 010 +
@@ElektroGamer30 So with a PID R013 for example, this will not be the case?
@@brunojuton4969 Mine is PID 020, and it has this version 4.0.1!
why do i get a white screen on the control

Jest sens zmiany starego PODa na tego z wyższym firmware?
Witamy, oprócz nowszej wersji oprogramowania, w POD Control zaszły inne zmiany!
Nowy wyświetlacz z lepszym widokiem i jaśniejszym kontrastem!
Ten model POD Control kosztuje 50 euro z w pełni funkcjonalnym subwooferem i głośnikami!
Więc nie była to dla mnie taka duża inwestycja, warto było przejść na nową wersję!
do you know why it doesn't work?
why ?

lo I thought you updated the firmware.
Unfortunately, Logitech did not share their secrets with us :).

And do you want to connect the wires to the POD Control motherboard?
