Circling back to comment! Looks like a great day! Last time I was there was POTG. Didn't do the hop on hop off but we hit most of those sites. Finally went to the Hemingway House! Love Key West.
Would go back to try the beaches and discover a couple bars.

Thank you for this video. I can not wait until I do my Virgin Voyages solo cruise. This is the leg I want to take. I am not happy Scarlet Lady has left the USA...Valiant Lady does not have the NEON words behind the wooden swings
Oh wow! I’m getting on Valiant Lady soon and looking forward to seeing the subtle differences. Virgin really helps solos get acclimated to the ship and meet other solo sailors

Yeah VV had better options for room service but they have to fix that advance reservations system. I booked this sailing last minute and there were only like 9:30 dining times and the galley still needs stronger evening options in my opinion if they want to keep their current reservation system.
Hey C, my mother worked for USPS also. Those chickens are everywhere. I'll never forget that CVS. I broke my phone back in 2015 there😂😂😂 I had a good time there last year when I was on Virgin Voyages.

@@SeeItWithC we rented golf carts. We were on a group cruise. We stopped at some of the tourist shops, went to a bar and had drinks and rode our butts off 🤣🤣🤣

I got boo’d on valiant🤣. I went on a virgin excursion in St Croix and I was tipsy and refused to run to the ship. The excursion was originally sold out but Virgin added an additional time slot. We got back late and they had to wait for us. The people watching had no idea and they were yelling at us to hurry. 🤷🏽♀️
That makes sense. The last couple definitely wasn’t on an excursion. They walked out of the shops that you can see from the pier. But yes no run of shame needed if you were on an excursion. Now your tipsy walk may have been worthy of an applause 😂
@@SeeItWithC i just didn’t want to fall. 🤣🤣 We got a ride on carts the bus to go to the excursion but they made us walk from the bus to the ship on the way back. They were not getting any extra effort from me.

Key West is my least favorite port. Also, I am afraid of live chickens! 😂
Yeah doesn’t seem like much to do in key west…if I ever end up back there I would try to get to a beach and after that it will likely become a “ship day” port

While walking solo do you share your location with a family member? If I can get service, I share my location..LOL! I love to see the Pier Runners it never fails, that one or more people are late.
I have several friends who have my location at all times (except when I’m in the middle of the ocean…that confuses Apple everytime). This was the first time I have ever seen that many and they were that late. I definitely had front row seats with that cabin.

Key West was a bit boring to me. Old town feel. I walked around and brought a pair of crocs and sloppy Joe 😂
I agree, although I would go back for a sloppy joe. Not sure why the cruiselines keep this port other than it’s difficult to drive and stay there at some points of the year. Virgin was rumored at one point to be getting rid of the fire and sunset itinerary that stops at Key West but they haven’t let it go yet.
