I can’t believe you all could narrow it down to two favorite restaurants! I have to agree with you both though on one. I love Pink Agave for Taco Tuesdays away from home, but I also love bottomless brunch and dinners at The Wake on nights you can dine as you sail away from port.
The Wake was fantastic, now I’m sad we missed bottomless brunch there!

Can you get extra portions of food if the portions are too small for your appetite?
You absolutely can! I joked about ordering everything from the menu bc it all looked so good and the server said, “you could do that if you wanted!”. Of course I’d never do that, but I thought it was good to know that you can order more of something if you wanted.

It's free delivery if you buy something like coffee from the grounds club which sometimes is less expensive than the delivery fee

Extra Virgin didn't make either of your lists? We have a 14 day cruise coming up over New Year's. I was planning only booking Gunbae only once since the menu seems limited. But I had planned on Extra Virgin as one of the ones that we would book 3 times because of the larger menu. Was it a bust? Thanks. You guys are super cute.
Ah, that sounds so fun! I wouldn’t say it was a bust, the other restaurants just had more unique options. But I could totally see wanting to eat at it more on a longer cruise bc of the big menu!
I want to go on a Virgin Cruise now just for the food … followed by lots of exercise

Yep! They’re very accommodating to particular diets and will make just about anything you want.
Ummm......just curious. You said you got food poisoning one night. Any idea from where? On the ship? on land?
Pretty sure it was from a restaurant in Croatia where we had raw oysters. On board the ship they said no other passengers had come to them with any sickness or complaints except being hungover 😅
I have been sailing with Celebrity since 1990...My last cruise on the Celebrity Reflection was this past Sept 21st 9 day sailing..I must say that the food on Celebrity use to be the best at sea...But the new president of Celebrity came from Royal Caribbean and she is killing the Celebrity brand...Royal is rearing its ugly head on Celebrity. The food quality has gone way down hill along with portion sizes..for an entree I ordered Herb Crusted Lamb Chops with vegetable, what I got were 2 tiny lamb chops and 2 string beans laying on them...OUTRAGIOUS. I must admit, though not as fancy as Celebrity and way more funky, The food looks 10 times better on Virgin.
We were definitely pleased with it. We haven't been on a Celebrity cruise but compared to our last cruise the food on Virgin was sooo much better. Thanks for sharing about your experience! It's always good to know how cruise lines compare.
